Residence Inn by Marriott Milpitas Silicon Valley

The room is nice and roomy. The service is terrible. I registered for four people in our room so I am expecting four towels in our room but when we got there there were only three towels so big a big deal So I called the front desk and ask for another towel after 30 minutes the towel never came so I called the front desk again and front desk replied that they are enroute si I waited and waited and they never came so I decided to to pick it up myself. I am disappointed because this hotel has a superb reviews.

I liked how the building is separate from office and rooms felt like home and comfortable. But one thing i noticed was that there was no dish soaps and sponge for us to wash our dishes or use the dish washer and there was no hair dryer but i could live without. But my bed was definitely comfortable, loved the vanity mirrors, and location of hotel was just perfect and not so busy durring my stay.. i look forward to staying with Marriott again.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing. Outstanding customer service, very helpful and even comped us a late check out. I'd definitely stay here again

During covid we were a little nervous about staying in a hotel. However, the Residence Inn was very clean! The staff all wore masks and were all very helpful and understanding of our concerns. Only complaint we have was breakfast. There wasn’t to many options to choose from. But considering Covid, we understood. All in All our stay was wonderful!

This place is perfect for a small family. The pool is open and clean. Plus grab n go b'fast every a.m. and m-w they serve grab n go beer/soda n snacks.

The hotel is very beautiful and looks more like townhomes or condos. Noise is inevitable at night although overall the ambiance is very calm. The outside and inside of the property is aesthetically pleasing. We booked a room with a king size bed and a pullout sofa bed which was very comfortable as a “pillow fort” for our child who enjoys imaginative play. The amenities in the room were decent although my one complaint and is that the refrigerator is not automatically “on” which means that if you are unaware of this (which you are not made aware of/ no note or obvious indication of it) your food will spoil. This is what happened to us. Over $80 off groceries including ice cream gone to waste (we no longer trusted eating it/food safety) after it had been “thawed” overnight. Pool and other amenities seemed to be open even during COVID which was a surprise to us. Face mask policy is enforced. Lastly, the customer service at the front desk is very nice and there is a convenient drop off basket for room keys located inside the office. Side note: there was a lot of police presence which we were unsure of (is this a good thing or a bad thing? Safe area or not?). Grocery stores such as Safeway are close by 5-10 minutes away with a 7 Eleven close by and a gas station & Starbucks being even closer. The freeway is also conveniently accessible within minutes. Overall would return to this hotel, with now some minor reservations.

Residence Inn is a very good place to stay. We stayed here 2 times. Once for 1 day and during the 3 day weekend Jun 19-21/2020. Staff are nice and TV had problems and staff was great in fixing it within 15 minutes. Breakfast food is very good since the Covid19 allows no eating in dining area. The hot foods were still hot or warm. Drinks were good. All in all I recommend Residence Inn.

Love this place!!!

Super comfy bed. Great breakfast with lots of delicious choices and a big pot of oatmeal. Even hit rice and a fresh spinach salad at breakfast? So I ate some! Boys enjoyed the sport court basketball court.

Nothing to complain it was awesome and relaxing both staff and the place
