Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Convention Center

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza because our house lost power in the recent ice storm. It's location was very good. It's close to conveniences, and is near the convention center and arena. The Hotel was recently remodeled and well equipped. The business center was in the process of being renovated, but it looks like it will be an excellent upgrade. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this as a Portland travel option.

The stay was okay, bathroom was pretty small and it looked as though the floor was not vacuumed completely! Once my account was charged, I was charged an extra 20.98 per day for taxes stated by Jennifer the account manager! I informed her that this has never happened before and she stated that hotels.com should have informed me of this! Not sure if they were trying to make up for the good rate that I was quoted and paid! Due to her rude demeanor over the phone we will not frequent that location again!

under construction, messy, was supposed to get two queen beds on first or second, floor for handicapped daughter, and didn't. got a queen with a pull-out sofa, was supposed to have a bath-tub, and it didn't, the coffee they had sucked! and only got luke warm!will never go back again!

Everything was wonderful. There was some kind of event so we did have a lot of noise until after 11pm but overall it was a nice stay.

We traveled to Portland, Oregon from Los Angeles to help our little cousin / son get situated in his apartment. We selected the Crowne Plaza which was centrally located to his apartment. Great location!! Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very friendly and prompt to responds when we call them for room service. Our stay was very pleasant and we look forward to staying there again.

Everyone was super nice and the bartender was awesome! Very clean sheets, and the bed was relaxing.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. The restaurant and bar is great. The property is currently going under some remodeling. They are great about following precautions due to the pandemic. The hotel was centrally located so we could use I-5, Hwy 99, or I-84 with ease. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

The service was impeccable, everyone we encountered was friendly and attentive. Our room was pretty big and the bed was super comfortable. Only downfall is the pricey parking so park on the street, it’s cheaper!! I went for my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the hotel was and how close it was to everything. The manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and to help celebrate my birthday!

I had a wonderful time staying at the Crowne Plaza! I usually stay with friends while in town, but I chose a hotel this time, in order to keep a safe distance during this COVID pandemic. I am so pleased with my choice of hotel, as I was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. Every employee I encountered was incredibly kind and helpful. I felt safe, and I appreciated the extra precautions taken by the hotel - lots of hand sanitizer available, thorough cleaning, etc. My room with a king bed was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and I slept very well. The room service breakfast was delicious, and I highly recommend their Belgian waffle and hash browns. The hotel is conveniently located minutes from several major public transit routes (MAX light rail, bus, and street car), which made getting around town a breeze. The Crowne Plaza will definitely be my go-to for my next hotel stay in Portland!

The location of the Crown Plaza was perfect for us. We booked and prepaid our five night stay. We ask ourselves, how is it possible that especially during this time of the epidemic, no one serviced our room. Not towels, toilet paper, sheets, coffee......nothing!!!!!! No MAID SERVICE!!! NONE! How could that be???? How is that even permitted in the time of such a contagious virus. How is it possible that we are staying in the hotel and are charged TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS PER NIGHT TO PARK OUR RENTAL CAR???? We understand and accepted that there was no pool or jacuzzi. And even limited hours of the restaurant. We had room service and the food and service were good. Thank you!!!! Theses are details that forced us to change hotels for the remainder of our stay. Remember.....service is very important.....especially during these tough times.
