Radisson Hotel Portland Airport

It was nice room looked over the river. The ice machine was broke on our floor but I found one on anoyher floor. It worked ot the hotel was really nice would definately stay again.

The weather is cold right now. Our room had a wall heater apparatus as that of a window air conditioner and the only way it gave any heat off is if the setting was at 78*. It blew hot dirt smelling air until the room was hot then shut off and we were freezing cold throughout the entire night and morning. For a hotel considered to be superb someone has the wrong rating the hotel as such. No way was it a "superb" hotel.

The room was very spacious and very clean. The hotel staff were all very accommodating.

The place was fine, the desk folks were friendly and efficient, the bed was comfortable, the dark shades kept the light out. But there is an agreement that must be signed upon receiving the key that I have never had to sign at other properties, Radisson or otherwise. It was a series of agreements designed to discourage uncouth guests from staying, which made me a little wary of my safety while staying there. I’d rather not have to attest that I’m not a bad guest by signing and initialing a sheet with prohibitions and penalties to direct my behavior. It’s common knowledge to depart before the departure time, not wreck the room, behave properly in public spaces. If this property has the kind of people a who stay there often enough to require the creation of and signing by guests then that makes me even more nervous about staying there again.

We have stayed at this Hotel many times and years in the past but it must be under new management. Staff friendly until the Front Desk Supervisor arrived at 3:00 PM for her shift. Things changed. Olivia, the “Supervisor “ attired in sweatpants ( on both days we were at Hotel) was rude, condescending, and talked down to us and her staff. Entire tone changed. Had spoken to her on phone previously before checking in and was told menu in what had been great restaurant hadn’t changed due to Covid restrictions other than being takeout. Wrong!! Totally limited menu. Sparse ,to say the least. When inquiring about that issue she blamed it on her uninformed staff. Dining in your room, eating out of a brown paper bag as a plate (really it was the plate) with chicken from Clubhouse sandwich oozing liquid oil.. water ? Soaking fries onto the rest of your meal ! Then you complain and find the Cook/ Server/ is the Restaurant Manager who in fact refuses to remove the disgusting sandwich from your bill after you return it to him uneaten. Hmmm Think the Radisson Chain might care to take a look at the situation going on here???Don’t think we will be back. Sad. . Had many great family memories here but if this is the best Radisson can do now??? No thanks.

As we all know, with Covid travel is just a little different. The staff was friendly and amazingly helpful. Dylan in particular was absolutely incredible, remembered us and greeted us with every move. We arrived early and were given access to the lounge until a suite was ready. My only negative would be that the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise was a very enjoyable stay.

Clean and nice, the shuttle was very easy to take to the hotel. The parking lot was rather crowded and a bit of a walk to the hotel from the park and fly lot(which was 10$/day). I was also a bit disappointed that the hotel would not take my mother’s credit card over the phone when she called to pay for my parking pass, which caused me some inconvenience. Overall the staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was open but they weren’t doing room service at this time.

My visit was amazing, everyone was so nice and friendly. This was a great escape from the work life. I’ll be back again next year.

It was wonderful but I was next to the elevator and heard it all night long. I should have changed my room. Otherwise it was great. I was very thankful that the restaurant was open and it was great food
