Chaminade Resort lives up to its reputation by providing an enjoyable safe retreat with friendly staff and clean spacious facilities and amenities.

It was an amazing getaway . It felt very safe. The hotel provided sanitizer everywhere , the staff wear masks. The service was amazing, polite , accomidating and very generous . We had a perfect getaway , we will be back.

$40 resort fee with few amenities in light of Covid just rubbed me the wrong way. The restaurant could not accommodate our dinner party and the few amenities remaining were fully booked. While the property is nice and the staff was very helpful, the only amenity we were able to use was the public nature trails, which are probably not amenities but rather just a benefit of being located near the forest. All in all I give it high grades for comfort but low for being a “resort” due to there being nothing to do given the “reservation” system being fully booked throughout our stay.

We loved this place. Beautiful location, beautiful resort, excellent service. Would definitely stay here again. I recommend making a reservation for dinner and for the private hot tub. Such an amazing experience. I also recommend a forest view room. Our room faced the parking lot but now we know to request a forest view room next time. Thank you Chaminade!

It's a beautiful setting on top of hill. Nice short hiking trail. Wish they had microwave in room to heat food! Quiet setting

Chaminade is not a 4 star hotel. I usually stay at Paradox but was curious about Chaminade so stayed 2n on a family trip but left feeling less than great about the experience. Pros: above average size room. Cons: did not get my Gold Exclusive free beverage; parking was extremely limited and tight (we got door dinged); food at the hotel restaurant had VERY small portions ($20 for a steak salad that could fit into a happy meal box) for the pricey cost (plus 20%+ service and $10 delivery on top of $37 daily resort fee); heated pool was cold. The location is secluded, which was initially an attraction; but when you can't get a table at the restaurant and there's no cell signal, food service at hotel is limited and expensive and there's no outside restaurant nearby, then the seclusion becomes a liability. Going back to Paradox.

It was not that nice, the decor was random , bed is Uncomfortable and there is nothing special at all about this place and the price is way over for its amenities that do not exist. There are so many more nicer and less expensive places to stay....price increase upon our stay after we were guaranteed another price.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES. It is no where near what it looks like in the pictures. Rooms are like a 2 star motel. They need a huge upgrade. I entered the room and decided to find another place within a minute and checked out.
