Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre

Room was next to the corridor and very noisy: I could hear people chatting, coming back late or using shower/toilets. Bed was not very comfortable, mattress was uneven. Wifi was very inconsistent (ok during day but awful in the evening) Good breakfast and very nice staff however.

Affordable hotel, close to city centre Two days into our holiday the Belgian government imposed strict regulations with regards to the coronavirus outbreak. The staff worked hard to minimise the effects on guests and make our stay as good as possible.

Absolutely love the location of the hotel - extremely convenient- within walking distance to well known sights (Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Royal Palace etc), food spots (Chez Léon, Maison Dandoy, Tonton Garby etc) & train station (Brussels Central). I wish we had a window with a view but we didn’t you saw other parts of the building when the blinds were opened so we just kept them closed. We arrived much earlier than expected and they allowed us to store our luggage for a couple of hours before our room was ready to check in. The staff was very nice, with the exception of one female staff member who seemed a bit racist - never acknowledged or greeted us when we left and reentered the hotel (not that we were expecting a greeting every time) but she had a very unpleasant & distasteful look (looking at us dead in the eyes) - as we entered the lobby at the end of our day. But nonetheless, we didn’t loose sleep over that. Had a very comfortable and safe 4 night stay.

A good choice for an overnight/short stay in Brussels. Not too far from the main train stations and main museums etc. I would book this hotel again for a similar stay.

Size of the room was good, but it was always cold with the heating not working very often, I found it strange how I booked a room for a double bed and I got two singles out together with two single bed sheets too.. plus the singles kept been pulled apart when we were trying to sleep which was very uncomfortable. ironing wasn’t provided as normal but to pay 5 euros each item you wanted to pay, plus the bathroom light would go on and off whilst you are in there

Really decent hotel, great location and nice breakfast! Unfortunately, there is no soundproof, so whoever was walking or talking in the corridor was like sitting next to you. Also they were doing some improvements in the building in the morning which was not very pleasant if you were there for holidays and wanted to wake up at 9ish. But in overall the staff was super friendly, the room really nice, clean and comfy. I would stay there again!
