Dreams Natura Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Me and my husband came here for our honeymoon. We expected so much considering this hotel is new but unfortunately our stay here was horrible. Our room was not ready when we arrived (after specifically informing them of our arrival time) we had to wait about 3 hours to get our room. Once we got our room we noticed the “ocean view” wasn’t the ocean view we had selected when booking, reception said our ocean view was supposedly the “best” the others are “partial ocean view” our room had a long walk way out to look at the ocean but it wasn’t private. Our next door neighbors and people upstairs could see us there was always some guy from his balcony looking down at us every time we went outside to relax and hang out. We had some rain as well due to the hurricane which is understandable and out of the hotels hands BUT water came in under the door which reached up to the bedroom, hair dryer didn’t work we also found out on day 3 that we were missing an information booklet in our room that had ALL the information pertaining to restaurants at the hotel, bars, the spa, the menu for room the only reason we found this out is because after the 3rd attempt trying to order ro service we were told the menu is in the information booklet (staff here doesn’t know anything we would get so many different answers from people here the first 2 nights we were told the menu was on the tv lol) the staff here is also a hit or miss we dealt with some EXTREMELY rude people.

Good food, good service, beach in bad shape- there is no reef, nobody spend a time in the ocean

After booking our wedding in November of 2019, we were thoroughly looking forward to getting married at the Dreams Natura Resort. With that being said, we were told of construction delays in March and then out of the blue...a hotel re-branding in June. Our wedding date was July 27th. The re-branding caused the hotel opening date to be pushed beyond our wedding date, therefore causing our wedding to get moved to another Dreams location...at literally the last minute. When traveling out of the country and assembling trips for 20 people, this was a major issue and one in which Dreams and Now did not provide much assistance with. Terrible communication from both brands and then an up-charge at the Dreams Riviera Cancun location from the minute we arrived at the hotel. As a hotel builder, I am very familiar with the construction timelines and possible delays, however I am also privy to the level of communication given during these times. Dreams has lost all of my family and friends due to this whole ordeal and the way we were transferred without equal accommodations. If you are looking at this brand, I would kindly ask that you join the Now Natura fans page on Facebook......you will see that we are not the only ones severely let down from this resort and their management practices.
