Hotel Le Presbytère

Lovely stay in quirky Marais-based hotel. All good. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. A stones throw from the Hôtel de Ville. Beware - the hotel has no lift, so pack lightly!

Stayed for 6 nights. Location was amazing. Cafes, bakeries, shops, etc. are literally right outside the door, but it is a super quiet back street area away from main roads with its own little plaza feeling. No noise at night. Only a 15 minute walk from many sights, including the Louvre. Hotel was clean, staff was great. No elevator, so you have to climb the stairs, but was not a big deal since it’s only 2-4 floors max. We stayed in the basic small queen bed room, and it was perfectly adequate for my wife and I. Would definitely stay here again and recommended to family and friends. Maybe we could try the suite next time!

First trip to Paris for me, with a little apprehension... the staff at Le Presbytere eased my nerves with a very welcoming stay. The Marris district is active with food options galore. Located within walking distance of half of the city. We stayed 6 nights at the hotel, everyday an adventure, we easily Ubered between the hotel and special outings and used the hotels driver on a couple occassions where he went over the top to ensure we knew exactly where to go at the rail station and at the Airport, escorting us in and showed us the ropes before leaving - a very nice relief. Note as you enter the first time, there isn't a lobby at the entrance, only a spiraling staircase. Dont panic, it's the right place. Reception in on the first floor- 20 steps up. They are happy to assit with heavy bags when asked. The stairs must be 250 years old...maybe more. Rooms are clean and fashionable with an adequately large bathroom and massive water pressure. (Room 203) lacked a view of the street but remained quiet on busy nights. The photos of the rooms are very accurate, room 203 shown exactly as we experienced. Would highly recommend the hotel and the area. Looking forward to visiting again. We will venture to higher floors on the next visit.

We were very happy with our choice of hotel. The staff were all very helpful and kind. Our room was great - comfortable bed, outstanding shower - all around wonderful! It was quiet in spite of being close to a lot of activity in the street (as the location was so central and bustling.) We would definitely stay there again.
