Baymont by Wyndham Tallahassee Central

It was pleasantly nice. I didn’t particularly like the dog running around nearly scared me out my pants when it ran up to me. And the tub wasn’t all that clean other than that I liked the baymont.

Front desk staff very polite. The issue here is the cleanliness. Really one of the most unhygienic hotels I have ever been to. Hair in the bed (not mine) Roaches on the floor. Opened the refrigerator and it smelled like rotten food.

Kendra Frye was very friendly and helpful to me at my checkout.

I stay there a lot, always a great place to stay

Problem with roaches in room. Was moved to what was offered as suite but still killing roaches.

Booked two days at the Baymont due to surgery being conducted in Tallahassee. Sent a message the day before arrival explaining that I had pre-op to do on Wednesday and asked to check in early. Upon reaching the hotel, there was some issue with the early arrival. The nice lady at the front did remedy the issue immediately. The reason we gave a 3 star rating is the room itself. We brought cleaner with us so we could sanitize due to my health issues. As we used the white washcloth, it became filthy just wiping the normal surfaces. No extreme cleaning, just the areas we would be touching. Our room had a roll in shower. The way it was set up, the showerhead faced into the bathroom, not the shower. When I tried to shower, it started flooding. It was not optional to skip a shower, because I was having surgery the next morning. My husband went to the front desk and asked how I was to shower. She handed him some towels and said that is all they could do to address the shower. Obviously, this has been an ongoing issue because the molding on the bottom of sink is rotting out. Breakfast was non existent. They placed out a dozen or so granola bars. We understand that Covid has changed how everyone operates, but place some variety out. There are numerous pre-packaged food items. Disappointing stay.

Room key would not work, had to go back to front desk upon check in because key would not work. Room was not very clean, floor was dirty and slippery, bathroom floor was dirty, bath tub had hair in it and on the wall of the shower, as well as on the bathroom sink. This is usually the place we stay for cross country meets in Tallahassee, but it may be time to look for a different one.

Customer service was good but the walls is so thin. We kept hearing the people upstairs dragging the chair across the room every morning around 6. Then we heard the people next door whole conversation. Roaches running around on the floor. Had to go to front desk because housekeeping only left enough tissue for you to wipe half of your booty.

Hotel was OK Breakfast was not worth bothering with. People hanging out by the pool and loud noises at 1:30 in the morning

First room hadn’t been cleaned, second room couldn’t get a functioning remote for tv, third room wasn’t super clean but stayed away. Had been traveling for 15 hours and didn’t care at that point...... ridiculous. Front girl was very nice tho
