Great Hotel

Very friendly and accommodating!

I wish there was free hotel guest parking and more homely amenities like trash/ice/laundry area and a microwave. Mainly parking.

Hotel and staff was awesome. Great location in the downtown Dallas Arts District. Access to food and entertainment within walking distance.

For the price and location I was disappointed. Building was difficult to find because everything in the Arts District is called Arts Something or Other. We never found parking for hotel except valet. Shower door would not close which soaked the bath mat and floor. Had to be toweled dry before using blow dryer. Could not figure out how to turn off lights. Had to call desk and send someone up. The wifi was not working. The room was clean but not nearly as luxurious as I expected. The sheets did not feel like a very high thread count. The lighted mirror would not light so I followed the cord down behind a panel where it was plugged. Used a plug on top of the counter and it worked. the Ipad indicated that Hall Arts did not nickel and dime you to death. There were free snacks and drinks in the mini fridge. Imagine my disappointment when opening the fridge and there was nothing in there. When asked the front desk said there was some bottled water over by the sink. There were 2 bottles of water at room temp. I could have gotten the same level at a Hampton Inn with a few more amenities at half the price.

My stay was excellent. I will return. Clean. Polite staff. Very pleased. Great views. Wonderful location.

Arrived at 3pm and room was not ready. They felt bad and comped our meals which was nice. Got the room at 5pm. Hotel is a bare bones, minimal staff type of hotel. Nice interior designs. Location is in the art district and beautiful to walk outside.

Great stay in a magnificent hotel. The only hiccup was when a member of Housekeeping tried to enter the room while the Do Not Disturb sign was hanging up. That's a staffing issue though, and only detracts minimally from the quality of the stay. Otherwise it's be five stars across the board.

Over a three-night stay we had maids/room service walk in on us three separate times. The computer software was down leading to our room being given to another couple who also walked in on us In our room. The valet was incompetent constantly bringing the wrong vehicle around if even able to find the vehicle with extended wait times. Overall the stay was disappointing mostly concerning the staff and our privacy.

Beautiful hotel in a good location. Modern decor and very clean.
