Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center

No free breakfast after our stay was told it was for a special event and that nothing was available for us and directed us to purchase our breakfast from there coffee shop

Overall awesome stay. Upon checkin Jamarius was so helpful, and did a great job!!!!

I paid for the EXEXUTIVE KING room. However, when my wife went to check in, they told her that it was no longer avaliable amd she was given a NON-EXEXUTIVE queen size bed.

Well when I reserved the room prior to our stay I asked if there was anything else that I would need when checking in. I was not told that we had to pay for parking and daily, I was not told that we had to pay an additional $50. Per day for a deposit. Other than that, the room, service and everything else was nice.

I travel a lot and have very discerning taste. The Renaissance Waverly didn’t disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and beautiful property, with well appointed rooms.

First, the "park view" picture on the hotel's site is not even possible from this hotel! Your view is of roads and back of a building and a glimpse of the park. The first room we got didn't have an ice bucket so i called guest services and they said they had ice bucket down at the front desk, i asked if one could be brought to the room? Answer No, but you can come get one. Lmao, you should be told when you check in that ice bucket are not in the rooms and asked if you'd like one. Room 1138 double queen beds, these were the worst beds ive ever tried to sleep on. The outside of the mattress was fairly girm but the center you sank to the wood. My neck is still hurting. So, were going to change rooms on 12/23 i asked guest no-services if a bell-hop could bring a luggage dolley up, no, but you can come get one! We moved right next door to 1139 same crap view, but the mattress were better, but the services still were horrible. Serious issue, every hour or so the speaker in theroom crackles like someone is listening in, i called no-services and was told "we get lots of complaints about that but no clue what it is" Um, are they listening in the rooms, is it a short in the wiring? Either way i believe id find the heck out because if its an electrical short it could burn the joint down, if someone is recording the rooms audio its highly illegal!
