HOTELS.COM blew it at my check-in!
I had trouble at Check-in DUE TO HOTELS.COM! I made my reservation about 7 hours before arrival & the hotel had not received my reservation. I waited at the counter for 45 min while Hotels.com agents spoke to Embassy Suites. Hotels.com agents kept saying their computer was down & the Hotel said the "confirmation number" they were given did not go into their computer. I called Hotels.com twice & 2 different agents spoke to the hotel. I finally got a message from Hotels.com that I could cancel the reservation & rebook??? Or I could pay the hotel directly, which seemed to put me at risk of being billed twice. Eventually, the Hotel employee gave me a key to a room & said she would work it out. Part of the reason she accommodated me was that I stay there almost weekly & the staff knows me. Hotels.com was really no help at all in resolving the situation, even though the error was on Hotels.com's side. I have never been so disappointed in my service from Hotels.com.

Not the best way to start your Sunday.
Everything was good except the very end when we were preparing to leave. I was returning from taking our luggage out to the car as we prepared to leave by 9:30 for a church engagement, and the lady @ the desk asked if I was checking out & I said yes. I did not give her our keys & I got on the elevator right by the desk. A lady approached our rooms & wanted to come in & clean & she appeared to be upset that we weren’t completely out yet. The lady at the front desk defended her attitude & said that as soon as I stated we were checking out, they start cleaning. Checkout is @ 11 & that lady was at our doors less than 10 minutes after I passed the front desk. When we tried to explain that we were finishing up, she was rude & wouldn’t respond, but got on her phone & was telling someone that we were still in the rooms. I suppose next time we’ll wait to load the baggage.

WOW! This hotel was awesome. Staff was friendly. Room set up was great. For breakfast they make you what you want. The chef was so nice. This was the best breakfast we have had at a hotel. 100% recommend

Super nice hotel. Really enjoyed the free drinks at happy hour and the breakfast. Had a made to order omelet with ham, cheese, and onions for breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Columbus!

The rooms were cleaned and sanitized well in these times of Covid-19! The hotel breakfast was delicious. We were at the hotel for a wedding that took place on site and the staff did a wonderful job.

Went to relax. People throwing a kids party. I have kids so I get it. Because pools are closed came here to have pool party. Should have a separate time for just adults to swim, pool closed at 9p. Just was crazy loud. Just wanted peace.

The Rooms were Dirty. The a/c was broken in the first room. The refrigerators were frozen so they were barely cold but the worst part was how Dirty Every Room was. I was Given the opportunity to look in 5 Rooms after the 1st room i checked into wasn't suitable and Every Room had the same issues and wasn't Clean. Eventually (3 hours after i checked in and moved from room to room) i asked for lysol and Disinfectant so i could clean the room myself. My son was staying in this hotel the night before he shipped out for the Army. The Absolute Only Reason I didn't ask for a Refund is because i wanted to spend time with my son before he shipped out for basic training. With covid going on, he wasn't aloud to even leave the hotel or have anyone in his hotel room. I have a video of the room before i cleaned it. I will Never stay here Again. The assistant manager acted like she didn't care and like it wasn't a big deal. And my son got tested in the army for covid the day he left the hotel. (I wasn't aloud in his hotel room to lysol it or clean it) and he tested positive for covid. Coincidence? Maybe but i will NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAINL

"Home" at Embassy Suites
I stay here frequently on business. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms are comfortable. I feel like I am "home" when I stay there.

my wife is a hotel snob
I felt like the staff was super helpful and tried to go above and beyond to make our stay great despite the COVID restrictions. Rooms were very clean and bed were what you would expect at this level. My kids had a blast. The staff is A+, manager is A+. I felt like they actually cared about the us instead of just being "at a job."
