Sleepy Hollow Hotel & Conference Center

It was a beautiful place nice and vozy. The Christmas decorations were beautiful as well. Overall customer service was very good.

Needs Updating and reworking for COVID time.

We stayed for two nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The room had been sanitized and sealed and appeared clean. It was comfortable. Property needs an updating. The TV was not working well. Food service needs a little reworking. Due to COVID, even though the bar was open, you could not get a drink without ordering food from the restaurant. We also ordered breakfast and they said we could eat in the restaurant-but eggs were prepared and placed in a cardboard carton, no plate. Also many guests walking through halls without masks.

I loved this hotel, from walking in to front desk the woman employee was very friendly and Professional definitely does her job well. Had a room with Patio which was nice only weather is getting colder but nice landscaped view. The only downfall breakfast was not worth the Price it was not good at all and they didnt give us any condiments except syrup so abit annoyed about that...

I liked the property itself. Very pretty. The front desk was polite and even offered us a welcome cookie! It was delicious and warm. However, I left for the entire day, two days in a row, and the do not disturb sign was not hanging from my door; housekeeping did not enter my room to change the sheets or provide new towels or anything. I didn’t make a fuss about it since I was the only one staying in my room and I had other towels, but I did want my coffee cups refilled because I used them, along with the coffee and sugar, in the morning. I assumed they’d come and check but no one came. I was told by the front desk that to call them if I needed things but I imagined it would be like any other hotel where they’d have housekeeping come and restock the rooms if there wasn’t a sign hanging on the door. It’s not the worst thing in the world. I’d stay here again if I was visiting the area. Side note: breakfast there was fantastic!

Comfortable and quiet

We booked 1 night here for a short weekend upstate to get away from the city for a bit. We were very apprehensive about this trip as we're still in a pandemic and we were traveling w/ a toddler. We were also worried about the noise level waking up our child and thus us in the middle of the night. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was, and how comfortable the bed was. The view was also beautiful. We booked king patio room. The service was amazing too. We ran out of milk in the middle of the night and the front desk gave us some from their kitchen. The only thing I can think of is the housekeeping could be better at cleaning. The paper coasters resting on top of the glasses seemed used (had pink stains on them, maybe from a teabag?), and there was a very small amount of debris on the floor by the trash can (maybe they missed?). But overall, we had a great time and would still stay there again!

I don't know why this hotel has such high ratings. Worth hotel i ever stayed in. I think it should be downgraded to the motel category. The rooms are extremely old and shabby. Bathrooms are tiny, the faucet in the bathroom was almost falling out, AC in the room did not let any of us sleep two nights in a row. We booked the room thinking it would have two queen beds, it had tiny full beds, we had to order a roll-away. The roll-away we got was made in 1800s for sure. Every time i moved - my kids woke up. Disastrous, simply disastrous. We couldn't want to be out of there! Please don't be fulled by the customer ratings and stay away from this place. Hilton should be ashamed by the condition of their hotels.

As great overall... except...

Overall the stay was ok. The only down fall was even when i had requested a sertain room a month in advance, they were sold out when we arrived? They gave us the lesser room from that from a king to a queen which was better than nothing bit whats the point of a reservation if they dont stick by it. Otherwise everything else was fine.
