Quality Inn Grand Rapids Near Dowtown

We paid but we did not stay. Definitely would not recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal.

This used to be the Tavel Lodge and I've stayed there several times in the past. It was nothing to write home about but it was clean and decent. There is nothing Quality about the room that I ended up with. Advertised as a Queen bed- It was a full size bed and the lumpiest and most uncomfortable bed that I have ever slept in. The remote did not work for the TV. The bathroom was 3 feet from the bed. The room was a closet and I swear that I saw a rat turd in the bathroom, but my husband did not take a picture and mangagement swore it was not true and refused to let us move to another floor. Stay away this is the local trap spot for local people doing unquestionable things. This is my first negative review of a hotel and I have been using Hotels.com for several years. I ended up with room because my other hotel shut down and I had to find something fast.

Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience it was our first weekend away for anniversary after having our daughter two years ago. When we first got there there were multiple police cars hanging out in the parking lot. There were holes in the walls and the TV didn’t work. The toilet didn’t work, the shower leaked, and we didn’t have any hot water. The staff was friendly. I feel bad leaving such a poor review...I’m just hoping they can make some changes for the next guest!

Not timely on anything. Barely at the front desk. Ready to be home. At least i get a timely breakfast

Their was an already used washcloth still in my shower upon arrival. Obviously not cleaned from prior occupants. When brought to staffs attention at desk I got an “I’m so sorry” but no offers to rectify the issue. It took 15 minutes to check in because computers weren’t operating appropriately. This facility shares a parking lot with a VERY BUSY liquor store and a red SUV leaving their flew across parking lot and almost hit me. Then another car chased me down out on the Main Street accusing ME of hitting her car which was probably the red SUV that just flew across lot that fits same description as my car also being a red SUV. My guess they were fleeing the scene of an accident. Too much drama. Too much $$ for such a poor quality stay. The continental breakfast was also poor quality. My daughters said the only thing that tasted decent was the waffles. Gravy tasteless and scrambled eggs watery biscuits taste light straight up flour. Coffee dispenser was mainly dispensing water tinted with a little coffee. Will absolutely not stay here again.

The room and place was really nice and clean. The only issue was the locking mechanism for door going to the bathroom looked like it was broken into. But that wasn’t a big deal.

Check in was fine. Room was ok, but noticed a smell. The bed cover was dirty and the ceiling in the bathroom had brown spots. Fridge was filthy. Pillows had odor and didn’t use them. I finally figured out the smell, it was vomit. Not sure where it happened previous to my stay, but that’s what it was.

Not clean at all. Every place says no smoking but as soon as you open the room door that’s all you can smell. Smoke and Marijuana. Everything was updated but very poorly, not very clean at all. Our TV remote didn’t work at all. After calling 6 times to get someone we gave up. We all woke up with super sore throats because it was so dry.

Place is a hell hole bed bugs everywhere holes in walls people h as nhh th OMG out all hours of the day wouldn’t let my dog stay there
