Hilton Cairns

The location for our needs was awesome. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was nice but TV reception was terrible. We weren't there to watch TV so wasn't a big thing but definitely coule be improved. Breakfast was good and well run under covid conditions

Great comfortable stay

its location it wass close to everything and 24 hr access

Decor is a little dated for price range but room was neat and tidy and bed comfortable. Reasonable view overlooking city lights. On check in though it was late and only one staff member on duty. I waited for approx. 15 minutes whilst staff member explained absolutely everything to the customer in front. Thank goodness grad students were entertaining. Good on him for great customer service but failed to manage his time to ensure efficient check in. They did not need the whole Cairns tourist spiel at 7.30pm. No valet parking. I won’t stay at Cairns Hilton in future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are amazing. The view from our room and the breakfast area was amazing. We were concerned that the hotel is a bit dated but it was very clean and it did not affect our stay. The breakfast was excellent. We did stay in the ocean view room and spent the hot afternoons indoors just enjoying the view. I would say its the perfect location to atay in Cairns

Just a quick one night stay but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a better room than anticipated. Great service. Our deal included under cover parking and breakfast. We looked down the Inlet and down the Esplanade. Many food options within walking distance. Would stay again.

Nice location, this is considered a higher class hotel but had some only average aspects. The room was ok but not special. The gardens on the balcony full of weeds so not pleasant to sit outside. TV was old and some channels not available. Wifi charges were ridiculous in this day and age. Availability of parking ok. Breakfast was good range but unfortunately buffet not available due to virus. After departure had to contact hotel three days later as credit card had still not been reimbursed the check in fee. Disappointed to see only one staff member of Indigenous background in a city where a large indigenous population occurs. This seems very incongruous and is quite shameful in my opinion.

We have stayed at the Hilton many times and it has always been a great experience, however this time it was disappointing that our room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned, particularly given that we are in the middle of a pandemic. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned as it was full of toilet paper and one of the rubbish bins hadn’t been emptied.😢
