DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Louis Westport

Service was ok, but the room we got clearly wasn’t vacuumed or cleaned very well. We found a childs socks and little pieces of a toy. Which my infant could have choked on if she found. Then also found hair on a towel that was supposedly new.

We loved the free warm cookie upon check-in. They were delicious. The dinner order to go was fast and efficient too.

We had a wonderful stay at Double Tree. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Rooms and amenities were very clean.

This place isnt worth the money. The front desk tried charging me twice as soon as i checked in. Furniture in room is old and outdated. Stay somewhere else for the money

I booked two rooms with two queen beds for a stay 10/21 and 10/22 with my family. I requested connecting rooms. Unfortunately, the Doubletree at Westport Plaza building has not aged well and it is showing it. Even more unfortunate is the rooms are not being maintained properly. In both rooms that I booked there was very noticeable water damage. The water damage ranged from peeling plaster on the walls and ceiling, large and small water stains on the ceiling tile, crumbling plaster and rust around the windows, and water damaged making the base boards separate from the walls. Some of the water damage is directly above the beds and I’m sure at some point water has leaked onto the beds. I took pictures of all the damage and brought this to the attention of the front desk and the representative attempted to find two queen bed connecting rooms on different floors. There were similar rooms available on two different floors but the air conditioner/heater was making an awful loud noise in one of the rooms on one floor and the rooms on the other floor had similar water damage as the room I was already in, so I opted to stay in the water damaged room I was given. My biggest concerns were not the cosmetics and how bad the water damage looked, but more the possibility of excess mold and mildew that is in the rooms and also the structural integrity of the room. I won’t stay here again.

Our reservation wasn’t in the system. Thankfully, I had my confirmation information. We were assigned a room that was not cleaned from the previous stay. We returned downstairs to get a new room. The new room was in a corner with another room. The occupant in that room sat in the corner in front of our door on his phone. The fire alarm was covered with masking take, there was no sink drain, and I kid you not, no shower head. We paid for a nicer room when selecting in the app for a hot tub. The pool was open, the hot tub was closed.

Room was not cleaned and disinfected properly had to do my self second room wasn’t ready for checkin at 3 room door lock was broke battery dead so had to use one door to access double room also pool was to cold and not cleaned properly need more chlorine

Very friendly staff, but the room needed a few updates and better maintenance. Even though we were right next to the highway, it was one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in.
