Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge

The maid woke us up twice on our check out date .

It was good. Just a little disappointed that I had to pay for parking. That wack.

Clean bathroom but a little bit small for family of four.

The desk person was a little rude and pay for parking? Where I supposed to keep my car ? Another ting I like to see news in my language (Spanish) there is no tv channel? I feel bad

PROS: Nice room, modern decor, comfy bed, good wifi, good shower, good TV, Keurig coffee, fridge and microwave. Fantastic views of bay, bridges, and SF from 7th floor southern end bayside (lower floors or northern end might get blocked a bit by trees/neighboring highrise). Surrounding area has plenty of things to do in walkable distance - Emeryville Public Market has delicious food vendors, Bay Street has upscale shopping, movie theater (when not covid), and Ikea over there too. Most visitors probably don't realize that if you head to the west, i.e. away from the freeway/shops, there is a lovely path along the north side of the spit to the Emeryville marina and a park at the end with fantastic bay views. CONS: great view was marred by windows dirty on the outside, look like they haven't been cleaned in quite a while. Some bathroom fittings (faucet) were loose, easy to fix but someone's not paying attention. Outside the room, construction mess here and there. Downstairs, the lobby is nice. But this is a hotel where you step outside and you will be confronted immediately with the daily drama of the urban setting. No big deal, it's a relatively safe area. But opportunists are everywhere and I was concerned for my nice vehicle, anyone can just walk into the parking lot from any different direction, I saw no security personnel and for 17 bucks a day parking fee I expect a lot more than that messy confusing parking lot. DO NOT LEAVE ANY BAGS VISIBLE.

Service was great, bed was uncomfortable and the windows where super dirty. We requested a bedroom with the bay view

Good stay, parking 17 bucks on site, not understanding why they charge patrons for parking?? Overall, alright stay.

They gave me a room on the same floor they were having construction. My room also smelled funny, I opted out of switching rooms because I was just so exhausted from traveling. Which I terribly regret. I hardly slept, due to the sound of the construction on my floor.

They charge $75 per night incidental for every night.
