Holiday Inn San Antonio - Riverwalk

When we checked in the guy at the front didn't say hello how are you or welcome to the hotel. Just asked for my ID and credit card and gave us our room keys. He didn't tell us anything about the hotel, check out time or details about the hotel. Room was nice but the toilet kept running, called maintenance and they fixed it but it still did it throughout the day and night.

Bathroom was dirty full of mildew and mold In shower . I was directed when I arrived on property to park on 3rd floor before I even checked in. Had to go down to lobby and get a cart and try and unload luggage from a parking space that barely had enough room to open my doors.

The stay was ok I love the location and the easy access to the riverwalk area , the only thing that I don’t like was the charge for the parking i think it suppose to be free , when I make the reservation I didn’t see a notice or something about that extra charge.

Restroom was dirty, the tube and toilet, also the beds weren’t comfortable at all, it sucks that we have to pay parking I feel like it should be included with the room

This hotel is fine as hoteks go, but i still thought overall, for the price, i would have liked more. It is a bit older, our room was pretty small. It IS on the riverwalk (albeit a small corner) and i think that is why its pricier. The bathroom in my room had severe draining issues both tub and sink, but a call to the desk and it was fixed. It was a noisy hall late into the night but it was New Years too. The staff was friendly and great--and the highlight. Very helpful, even with a late dinner. But, next time i will stay a block from the river walk and pay less. I dont need to be directly on it.

Nice staff, great location, less than great hotel

Check in was good, the beds were supposed to be queen size but really were twins, so 2 people sleeping in one bed was tight and uncomfortable. The walls by the beds were dirty, you could see dirt lines. On the toilets you could see it wasn’t properly cleaned because there was visible dirt and dust particles on the flush buttons. The parking was a hit or miss. We arrived before the cut off time and apparently the garage was full and was told by the attendant who was very nice by the way to find any parking spot available regardless if it was handicap or employee parking. The room had a decent view of the river, it was a little steep but you could see the river. It was walking distance from everything so that was nice. Breakfast is not included, you have to pay for what you order at the hotel restaurant.

Great location! Room was nice and highly recommend getting a balcony!
