Quality Inn & Suites Lafayette I-65

Very conveniently located right off the Interstate and surrounded by a ton of restaurants. The staff was very friendly, check in was quick and the room was quite spacious, comfortable and it was clean. The hotel is an older property, but there was no glaring issues during our stay. The free hot breakfast was great and a very welcome bonus!

Another one night stay to break up a long road trip. Bare bones, old and run down but check in was easy, staff friendly, inexpensive, and although it was clean, it is much in need of TLC. Peeling paint, cracked bathroom sink, sloppy caulking around tub and shower, thin worn towels among the most obvious. If you just need a place to crash, the bed was fairly comfortable, the location was quiet, fridge, microwave for convenience and can’t beat the price

This was a truly frustrating and terrifying experience. A couple checked in before me and as I was checking in came back complaining they had been given the keys to an occupied room. With this is mind, I threw my deadbolt before I went to sleep. In the middle of the night I heard loud noises at my door. When I went to checkout the next morning the clerk could not find me in the system to give my receipt. She finally figured out that the night clerk, although she charged me did not assign me my room or follow the check in process. So my room showed at unoccupied in their system. So the noises I heard at my door was presumably another person trying to get into my room since it was considered “open” in the system. The explanation was the clerk was new. So this girl was charging people, but then not checking out the room and was handing out keys to occupied rooms since she hadn’t updated the system to reflect them as occupied. I would think this is not only a massive safety issue, but also a privacy issue as well. This also created a problem in getting a receipt since I hadn’t “checked in” according to their system...even though my card showed the charge. I’m still trying to get that receipt two days later. The property is old and dingy, but my real complaint is staff efficiently and the lack of safety for guests.

Was very hot in our room. The ac was not working well. They had dehumidifiers in all the hallways.

We had a 2 night stay planned and ened up only staying 1 night. We had room 108 and it literally smelled like vomit and the paint was peeling off the ceiling in large pieces that were just hanging there. The staff was not horrible for any specific reason but I wouldnt say they were booming with enthusiasm either. Upon checkout they did not care to know why we were checking out a night early. Maybe it was just our room that was absolutely disgusting but not a good reflection on the hotel in general, in my opinion.
