It is a very nice hotel. Staff was wonderful and friendly. $15 for parking in the parking garage was a bit ridiculous, (especially when if I just did the parking garage fee it would have only been $8). There was also no way to pull-up to the front of the hotel and get easily checked in and unloaded, so you have to come to an area you are completely unfamiliar with and drive around until you figure out you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way through cold from the parking garage and then back again to get your things. Some communication before about the parking situation would have been appreciated. Also, I understand COVID makes doing the breakfast buffet difficult right now, but the "grab and go" breakfast option was absolutely terrible. At least offer some cold cereal. Oatmeal and some fruit bars was not filling. It is a really nice hotel, and the staff are very friendly and all of that was much appreciated. But the parking and poor breakfast at the price really brought it down in my opinion.

Great last minute deal for a lovely hotel. Check in was a breeze and the man working the front desk was very friendly, smiling, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all my questions. He seemed to go above & beyond for all other guests too. We booked a standard suite and the room was very clean, spacious, & modern, with super comfortable beds, an abundance of fluffed pillows, a large television, and the trash can was divided to allow for easy recycling. It was nice that the room had several USB ports so we were able to charge all our devices at once. I do have a tiny complaint. Our room had a fridge but no microwave even though i chose the option to have one when i booked. Luckily, There was a guest microwave in the lobby so it wasn't that big of an inconvenience. Thanks!

I would have rated my stay much higher, but I had a major issue with the general manager. First I should describe check in. For some reason I thought that parking was free at this hotel. I mentioned that I never would have stayed at this hotel if I would have known that you had to pay. Especially $15 a day. Paying to park is a pet peeve of mine. The associate was excellent and offered to knock the parking down to $8 a day, even after I had already said I would pay the $15. She has excellent customer service and saw an opportunity to make an unhappy customer happy for just a few dollars a day. Now back to the check out with the general manager. I had noticed on the receipt that the parking was still listed at $15 and should be $8. I pointed this out to him and he asked why it should be $8? I explained my check in with him and to make a long story short refused to honor the discount. I was taken aback by him not honoring what she said and did. His reason was that , “if I did this for you, I would have to do it for everyone “ . Which is complete crap and some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. If he had an issue with the discount she had given me, ( she actually deserves recognition for her service), he should have brought it up with her but still honored the discount. In the big picture it was not about the money at all. It’s about an example of excellent customer service being trumped by the GM’s greed and power trip. Horrible way to do business!
