Grand Hyatt New York

Large room (corner suite) with plenty of searing and a walk-in closet. Claudine at the front desk excels at superior customer service! Thank you for a great Thanksgiving weekend stay.

I had a great time in New York and this hotel was perfectly located, very clean and offered good service. I especially loved the roof top tour.

The location speaks for itself, access to Grand Central Terminal's transportation, food, and shopping. What you don't know about is the service. On the busiest travel week if the year (Thanksgiving), the Grand Hyatt staff went above and beyond with their kind efforts. They made an accommodation for my grands to stay in my one bed room- waived the roll away bed cost. They provided fast, warm, and delicious room service, allowing for toddler's specification and last minute changes. Anything we needed - taxi's to extra towels. Also, the Club Room amenities- breakfast, soft drinks, snacks, even champagne- at no cost- extended to those staying in certain rooms, was worth the extra expense. And they let us use the Club Room after check out, before our flight home. Very pleased with our stay.

Checking in to the hotel was crazy, not enough staff given the was a Holiday weekend. Nice hotel but not worth the price ( plus the “resort” fee) that was tagged on when you check in

I’ve stayed several times in the past, and have had nicer rooms in the past as well. The location is good. My sister had an issue in her bathroom (flooding from above floor) and they did not handle it very efficiently at all.
