Comfort Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids CID Eastern Iowa Airport

The hotel was filthy, I requested that our room be cleaned, they stated that it had been. When returning to the room, they took linens from the floor, wadded them up in a ball and threw them back on the couch. The linens were covered in dog hair, and the room had not been cleaned from the previous people that stayed there. I travel frequently and have never stayed in such a filthy facility. Will never return to this hotel or any of their chain facilities.

Plenty of parking and parking lot was well lighted.

Was surprised room cleanliness was not appropriately done, seemed like everything was just wiped barely with same wet dirty cloth so, I could see by the dry smudges it was not a very well dedication put into it epically now that is a HIGH STANDARD due to COVID. One of the pillows was extremely old, smelly and biiiiig yellow stains seen through the pillow case. I believe they can do without that one pillow toss it out and replace it. There was no iron in my room, called reception to provide one because of the urgency I had (was going to a wedding) so I could iron/retouch my clothes. Waited an hour no one from reception had the courtesy of calling to give a status or to let us know they did not have one. I had to personally walk to front desk ask if please they could provide one from another empty room, they said they look into it. 1/2 hour later eventually someone brought one up to the room The ironing board had no cover, I had to place a bed cover sheet over it to iron

very big and confortable room

I was very pleased overall. Only some small things like the tile floor portions of the room were sticky. Not sure if the wrong cleaner was used or what. You could tell it was cleaned. The pool is closed. Other places let you schedule a pool time but this placed just closed it. A little bummed because i would have booked this hotel on my return trip if it was opened. Loved the breakfast. Iy was hot and they had cereal and yogurt as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It’s not a glamorous hotel but it was clean and everyone from the shuttle driver to to the front desk is extra friendly.

Slept well/ quiet room

Long wait to ck in, one staff present and was clearly overwhelmed. No free parking for airline trips that was stated on website!

My reservation called for 3 rooms with 2queens and a pullout couch. Upon arrival at 7:30 pm the front desk informed me that all of those rooms had been taken and the only thing left were 1 king. MISS COMMUNICATION from someone!!!!!
