Pattaya Bay Resort - Pattaya

A nice hotel in the middle of major construction projects. It is really too bad that there are 3 major construction projects happening on 3 sides of this hotel. The construction noise is unavoidable after 8am. Heavy impact of pile driving really shakes the area to the core of the hotel foundation. Otherwise, will be a good hotel once the building is […] completed sometime in 2014-2016. In the mean time KNOW what you are getting into before you decide to stay there. Their wifi is sporatic, throughput is low due to their provider (which has degraded from my last trips) and the signal is weak in the rooms due to weak signal vs cinderblock construction (signal won't penetrate the concrete). Experienced electrical current thru the bathroom shower handles which was promptly fixed when I pointed it out, but still somewhat shocking... Woke up every morning @ 7am as heavy equipment rolled into the construction sites next door. They would idle loudly til 8am when they would begin their noise... It is too bad as this is expected thruout the year, Additionally, the room staff are not keeping the rooms as clean as they should be (cobwebs, unswept corners, etc)... plus the worn edges are […] beginning to show at this hotel... the pattaya bay resort was perfect for me. located just back from busy second rd so nice and quiet and perfect for a good nights sleep.swimming pool on top floor with good inexpensive restaurant and a small gym on the next floor down.the surrounding area is not scenic with construction going on but that did not bother me and the staff and the rceptionists […] on the desk were lovely and friendly.I LOVED IT . I have stayed at the Pattaya Bay Resort since it was first opened. It is my "home away from home". As had been stated by other reviewers, it is really too bad that there is construction both in front and in back of the building as that leaves you no where to turn to get away from the noise. Unfortunately this will be going on for over the next year […] to several years. My only other observation is that they continue to have problems with their internet service which is essential to me. Over all this Hotel is great. The staff were very help full and kind. This hotel is located far away from the main street (second road) but they do have a 24 hour hotel taxi that will pick you up and drop you off for free in a very convenient location. All you need to to do is call them and they will come to pick you up at the same location they dropped […] you off ( I bought a cell phone while staying in Thailand for 700 Baht). The only bad part of my room was that the bed was old and it was leaning to one side. Also There is a wife and husband that sales fresh BBQ chicken at the end of the drive way of the hotel on the right hand side and it tasted awesome. It is located close to the beach. Within 5 min walk distance. It is away from the noise of the main street so you will get your rest if you are not into the night life in Pattaya. The room is a bit old but relatively clean.

Staff were friendly. Overall it was not too bad a stay even though the toilet did not smell that nice. Location is quiet and close to Central and walking street. Reasonable rates i think but with the competition in Pattaya i believe there should be better hotels at the same rates. Location i would say is the best selling point of this place.

１月末に３泊しました。 4階の一番端で工事現場側でした。これから工事が進むとうるさいかも。 これから泊まる方は反対側いいかと。。。 部屋はwifiも無料で快適でした。エアコンもしっかりリモンコで、バスタブは無いですがシャワーも水圧もありお湯もしっかり。 自分は朝食は無しでしたが屋上のプールの有る階にレストランがあり外で食事が出来、現金払いです。トムヤンクン美味しかったです。プールは広く無いですが、読書しながら日焼けしたい私には十分でした。 無料のトゥクトゥクはセカンドロードの入り口とソイプアカオの入り口まで送ってくれます、3回使いました。チェックオウト後も次のホテルに移動とときも使いましたスーツケースがあったので助かりました。

セカンドロードのSOIの入り口まで送迎サービスがあるし、Avenueを抜ければ歩いて３分なので不便は感じませんでした。セントラルフィスティバルも徒歩圏内でした。気になったのはタオルにシミがあった事で神経質な方は避けた方が良いです。

Hotellet ligger midt i bykjernen av pattaya og ligger i en gate med rolige omgivelser. Hotellet har alt men det eneste minus kan være at bassengarealet er litt lite midt i turistsesongen samtidig så er det litt langt å gå til stranden men at mopedtaxi anbefales å bruke. 2012.10.今回の旅で５箇所のホテルを連泊しましたが、ワーストでした。７Fの東棟隣の部屋、会話が丸聞こえです、ウエイトレスはチップがでるまで帰りません、エントランスはテーブル1S/Tのみ自販機すらありません。ホテルを中傷するコメントは書きたくないのですが、フロントの１名がひどい,チェクイン時にルームリクエストをすると7Fになつたが夕方エントランスに居ると先ほどのフロントスタッフが駆け寄り、タイ語が分からないと思い　リクエストしたなら倍のチップを払えとまくしたて、はきすてるように帰っていった、突然のことにあぜんとした。サウスのマナーの悪さは、知っ居ますがここは良いことは1つもありません。屋上レストランに客は居ません、１度いきましたがムリ～。
