I actually looked for things I could nit-pick about because so much about it was beyond my expectations. Okay, so the rooms aren't huge. They are essentially "loft" style. I wouldn't hang out in there all day long, it's a place to sleep and relax after a long day of adventure and shopping. I did however find the fact that I could not increase the thermostat […] past 20 was annoying. It was a very chilly weekend in May and I'm anemic, so I had to dress warm to sleep or go to the bathroom. The 'toilet/shower' part of the washroom door does not lock, so minor inconvenience if you need privacy. The decor was awesome! Not at all like a boring Holiday Inn. The bar downstairs looks cool however I haven't had time to use it. The fitness centre and pool are decent size, not too big but accommodating. I'll be staying there for a whole week in July! I loved this hotel. It was close to everything I needed. Shopping, resturants, entertainment. It's easily accessible from the highway. I like it because it's a quieter location that still allows to get into downtown Toronto very easily. Parking is included in the hotel cost, which is bonus for me. The swimming pool was nice. Service and rooms were incredible...I just can't stand the neighbourhood (even though it close to mine, I can't stand the "Woodbridge" types...). Consider opening in Mississauga or Oakville!

I got a king size room off of Hotwire for 136 tax included. This was one of my favorites. My only disappointment is that as it becomes more popular the rate to stay will go up. I encourage you to look up the Thompson hotel in Toronto. I stayed for 1 night for close to $400. The rooms are modern, comfy and most importantly clean. And the hotel is a 3 minute walk from Vaughn Mills Mall, what women could ever complain!!!! Perfect location, super close to malls and restaurants among other things. Staff was awesome. Beautiful hotel, clean, and very convenient setup. Extremely inexpensive price for the quality of service you get. I had a puppy and a toddler and had no extra charges for the puppy, staff was friendly and welcoming to them both.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, although for me it was not too far from York University, where I needed to be. was that the desk staff on one morning inviuted me to have their complimentary juice from the breakfast buffet, and the next day after we had poured some wanted to charge us for it, even after we explained that we wouldn't have taken […] any if we'd known that they wanted to charge us. The only issue I had was the inconsiderate guests. The people in front of our room where very noisy till about 3 am ....with their loud hallway gibbering and their constant door slamming.... it all was extremely annoying and immature.

I went to this hotel on a business trip. The rooms were great, very modern and clean. Bed was comfy, shower was great. Did not like that the bathroom door could not be locked. Staff seemed a bit unexperienced, but was friendly. The mall across the street was very convenient. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but a funky bar with nice bartender.

The room was great for a short stay, for long stays the room doesn't have enough storage around the vanitie and no closet space. But over all nice modern concept. I would use this hotel again.

Had a great stay...second time I have stayed there in the last month and will definitely be back...do a lot of shopping at Ikea and Vaughn Mills so it is perfect and I know we will stay there when we do our Wonderland trip in the summer

The bed was extremely comfortable. Service was great and fast. The layout and design on the hotel look fantastic. Easy access to connect a laptop to the tv.

My husband and I booekd this hotel as a bit of a get away with our 2 year old son. We figured we'd stay in our room, watch a couple movies and maybe check out the pool. I wish someone had left a comment for me to see prior as this is mainly a party hotel. It is clean, quiet, but it is located in the middle of a whole bunch of wedding venues. Very trendy, […] very nice atmosphere and quiet. My biggest complaint that I was was also known ahead of time is that they have a TV with basic cable, but no DVD player. We had to go out to Walmart and buy one so we could watch a movie. They have adapters if you bring your own ipod/ipad or laptop, but I asked at the front desk and they dont even have them available to rent. I stay at hotels twice a month. It is the first hotel having non ironed bed sheets. I understand the philosophy behind but I must say it looks and feels like somebody else has used the bed before me.

Although located outside Toronto at a mall and not in an interesting or historic location, the hotel was very modern and clean. The staff was solicitous and helpful. The live music at the bar on Saturday night was a huge plus!

We loved the hotel. The night customer service attendant was extremely friendly and helpful with directions to the ACC in Toronto. The only inconvenience we encountered was that for two nights the pool was closed due to maintenance

Great location, very hard to cross street, walking to mall. Rooms are great, modern, comfy beds. Pool is TOO COLD. The temp needs to be adjusted to make this hotel more family friendly. Great check in/out times. Overall loved my stay, would come again.

I really like the tagline -- Life Life Aloft! This is a modernist hotel -- clean, no fuss. Great colors. Great beds. Slept like a baby - which is unusual the first night. It has been an Aloft for 9 months. It had to have been another hotel before that because of the heating/venting system, which I don't think was new. Although not bad, but a humming […] none-the-less. The staff were very nice & helpful, very clean and beautiful room. Loved this hotel the only downside was that our view wasn't great but nonetheless still a great hotel at a good price!
