W arrived at night so it was hard to see the hotel as we arrived. Being in a new country for the first time I was a bit scared. As I awoke the next morning, I was pleasantly surprised! Quirky hotel on hillside in kampala, lovely views and very pretty garden where we had breakfast on patio. We were only there one night and unfortunately thunderstorm knocked out electricity supply to that area but would definitely stay again.

The service was very slow.the first night we waited 3 hours for our meal.the beer I ordered was warm when I asked for cold,it had to go in the freezer for 15 minuets.the second night was the same.on the last morning I entered for breakfast to be met with a sigh from the waitress!! Not quite the location or Area I had hoped to stay. More like a motel and definitely not a 3-Star. More like a 2-Star. Internet was not working and that was a unacceptable. The Proprietress and her Girls (Workers) were VERY pleasant though and the bed linen was clean and smelt fresh although the mattress was sagging in the centre...

Hotel was rated 3-4 stars but is rather 2-3 stars. Expected more like aircon n warm water. Also better view as indicated by pictures.

Though it was very brief, my stay was fantastic. I arrived gone midnight and the hotel staff greeted me so warmly and brought me a glass of fresh passion fruit juice- small thing, I know, but still huge in its own right. It is about 15 minutes out of […] the busy part of town by bada-bada (motorcycle taxi), and traffic is quite heavy. This white writer was regularly asked 10,000 (about $4 in Feb 2012) shillings by the bada-bada drivers one way between the hotel and town. Your rate may vary:) To go to town, it is about a 10 minute walk down the hill to a road where you find bada-bada and occasional minibuses. The hotel had their own minibus, but it was under repair when I visited. I also saw a motorcycle with the hotel name parked, so it may be possible to get service direct from the hotel. Помните картину: "Ленин в заливе(Ленин в шалаше)"- так вот тоже самое! Стандартный номер на двоих: кровать 1400х1600 не понятного какого года выпуска, плетеная табуретка, не понятный стеллаж, вентилятор под потолком. Ванная комната: стены просто отделаны цементом, подтекающий унитаз, отсутствие горячей воды. Одним соловом: ночлежка. Завтрак порционный: […] непонятного качества напиток(типа Юпи-растворимой химии), два тоста с маслом и джемом(все гр по 10-15), пакетик чая и кипяток. Если кофе, приносят банку самого дешевого и кипяток. Если попросишь омлет, ждать надо минут 20-25!-видимо надеются на то, что не дождутся и уйдут, нарезанные фрукты(у меня Тукан дома и то, больше съедает). Возник интерес, а что же тогда номер Д*люкс: такая же конура, но есть телевизор и DVD-плеер. Хозяйка-немка, что все сразу и объяснило! Удаленность от аэропорта на 1час 25 минут езды. Кругом бараки и разруха. Единственное что радует, вид: пальмы, цветы, озеро, но я как то был не готов платить 80 долларов за домик Трех поросят и съехал в Sheraton (понимаю за что плачу). 대한민국(남한) 크기보다 큰 빅토리아 호수(일부)의 일출이 보이는 소규모지만 우호적인 우간다 외국인 관광호텔, 교통비가 들어 가격은 싼 편이 아니지만, 1-2박 정도는 무난합니다. 우간다의 수도권 물가가 워낙 비싼 것이 문제이지만 빅토리아 호수 일출 사진이 모든 것을 보상해 주었습니다. 직원들의 친절은 모범적이었습니다. 저녁 거리 등은 사가지고 갈 필요가 있음. 아니면 사 잡수거나 관광 여행사 통해 관광교통 해결하는 것이 중요합니다.
