Chalala Samui Resort - Ko Samui

It was just ok ...I feel anyone staying or spending so much should spend a bit more and choose another resort.The people at reception don't understand english at all .Check In was bad ......I was not much satisfied.

The Chalala is a small hotel with only 15 rooms/bungalows, but is a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Jazz at reception who called us by name every time she saw us. Jazz really is the hidden treasure of this hotel! We loved our stay at the Chalala, as much as we liked saying it's name! We stayed at 7 hotels during our stay in Thailand in the same price range, this hotel was the cleanest! Cool/interesting layout with raised bedroom. Grounds were lovely. Beach is a little tight, but just put your stuff on a bench around the pool, then so for a swim. Front desk was […] wonderful, very helpful and remembered our name, saying hello every morning. Food was pretty good and well priced, 150 Baht for the avg meal. Chewang is a busy beach, although 10min walk away, we were thankful to be away from it. Hotels on either side, very tight on the beach, hotel, hotel, hotel, no break. Could only walk beach at night due to the high tide up to every resort. Hotel gave us umbrellas when it rained, although small. Perhaps supply large umbrellas and put in all the rooms. We stayed in first room on right of path, one of the two locks was broken. They kept saying it would be fixed, but never was, which was unerving for two women travellers. 7/11 right across the road and 3-4 travel agents as well. Wouldn't recommend M&M Travel Agents, very nice intially, prices higher, and when I went to neighbor to price shop, she got very mad at me. Laundry service next door also tried to steal one bathing top and a bra. Got the bathing top back after much insistence, but not the bra. Avoid. Pročitajte više

We stayed at Chalala for 3 nights with our 1 year and 9 month daughter and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is superb (right on the beach) and the swimming pool is a nice bonus for the late hours swimming. The hotel staff is super friendly and took great care of us (and our little Gaia who felt like a star). Many thanks!

Unsere Erwartung ins Chalala wurden zu 100% erfüllt. Gemütlicher Bungalow, .freundliches Personal, schöner Pool und toller Meerblick. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Dadurch vom Nachtleben auch etwas weiter entfernt.

Hotellets værelser ligger mefet tæt ved stranden. Der er alt hvad du behøver på værelset (safe, håndklæder, vand, minibar, sæber). Der er meget fin plads på værelset, da der er sofa arrangement, og meget gulvplads. Der er en lille terrasse udenfor hvor I kan sidde om aftenen. Hotellets restaurant er billigt, men ikke noget særligt. Stranden er kort, […] forstået på den måde, at tidevandet flytter sig ca 10 i døgnet. Så I kan sidde og få morgenmad på stranden med fødderne i vandet, og skulle gå 10 meter for at stå med fødderne i vandet, om eftermiddagen. Pročitajte više
