It was good, though very hot in the room. Ceiling fan not strong enough and a hassle going to another building/hotel to check in and check out.

I found it really inconvenient that the reception, all info, check in and out was on a totally different location. a 10 min walk away. Got to the address and had to drag my luggage to another street to check in, then go back to get into my room, that was on the 2d floor and with no elevator. Toilets not very clean, but the rooms were ok. But noisy. […] I just stayed for one night, and it was ok for that. So the address listed is for where the rooms are, and not for the reception. it was terrible. Reception was 2 blocks away, it should be at the hotel and you dont find out till you get there. You have too go 2 blocks to check-in, pay for key then go to blocks back again to check-out and get money back for the key. Everything about the place was terrible and fa to many stairs.

Room was clean but basic - ideal as a backpackers. Staff at bar downstairs were fantastic and made me feel welcome as I was on my own. Reception is 3 blocks away, i was dropped off in a taxi and was told by barely there bar staff that i was at the wrong place and had to go round the corner 3 blocks away. Walked there with my luggage to get a swipe card and told to go back to where i had started. I then had to trail all the way back. First of all, despite its name, the Stratton is a hostel not a hotel. The reception area to check in and check out is two blocks away in another building. Check out is at 10 a.m. By the time we left our room at 10, walked to reception, picked up a coffee on the way, it was 10:30 and the guy at the front desk refused to give us our $20 deposit back for […] the keys ($10 for each key) because it was after ten. 깨끗하고 시내 중심지(캐슬레이 스트리트와 리버풀 스트리트 교차점 근처) 에 위치해 여러모로 편리함. 그러나 금, 토요일 에는 제대로 잠을 못잤는데, 이는 2층에서 주말마다 댄스 클럽이 열리고 있어 그러했음. 어쩔 수 없이 클럽이 마치는 시간인 새벽 3시까지 마시고 춤추어야 했음. 체크인을 근처 월드 스퀘어 호텔(백 패커)에서 해야 했으나 크게 불편하지는 안았음. 백패커가 그렇듯 각 방에 소지품은 좀 조심해야 할 듯. 대체로 만족함.
