Marina Byblos Hotel - Dubai

Stayed for just one night on a whim, it was well worth the visit and I expect to stay again in the near future. Outstanding service! Especially impressed with the assistance provided by the front desk and Miss Irina the guest relation officer.

The front reception is pretty terrible in their efficiency. Took 45 minutes to check me in - and the ladies were quite curt when I tried to ask questions. Great location. Hotel amenities are good. If not for the first day experience with the staff - would probably rate these guys better

Stayed here for 2 nights. In summary dim room, difficult to do makeup in mirror.. Hair dryer was awful and they had no alternatives when I asked at reception.. Couldn't open windows.. Lighting all controlled from one side of bed was annoying.. Bathroom dark and dingey.. Stains on carpet didnt feel clean.. Kettle didnt work properly.. Gym facilities […] poor.. Wifi absolutely appalling !! Have to pay every time and have to use it up there and then or you lose your money.. Very bad system to be using nowadays!! Only positives were: nice arena/shisha terrace with great deals.. Also good deal in restaurant however it was a it dark and pub like. Will not be returning here.. Everything about this hotel is nice, except for the night club that booms all night! I was on the 4th floor and can still hear the night club ryhmes booming, God help the people on the lower floors! Staff were terrible, no manners at all & when greeting you don't look you in the eyes. We had to wait an hour to check in. When got to our rooms, they gave us a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking. When the staff rang us back they said it wasn't any other rooms available but it wasn't there fault as it was busy??! They sent someone with air […] fresher to get rid of stinking smell. When I asked for complementary breakfast due to bad service & wrong room, they actually said "no!" absolutely the worst service I have ever seen. To check out, it took another hour! The staff do not have a good attitude. So be prepared to have a lot of patience to stay here! The only good thing was the location & decor of the room. But I would never stay here again! The accommodation was great, I was upgraded to a suite. It was conveniently located for my business visits and yet had the Marina and the beach not too far away. A couple of minor niggles.... The service was good, but the systems were laborious for a business traveler. 1) Internet: Everytime I needed the Internet I had to call the reception to get a password and pay 30 dirhams for 3 hours. I stayed in this hotel for a couple of days. It is conveniently located close to the metro station. The quality of the room was good. It has a nice pub on the ground level. Arrived from a cruise early morning and were told they would upgrade us to a suite and check us in as soon as possible. The staff at reception were true to their word and we were in by noon. Hotelli oli ainakin meille loistavalla paikalla. Lähellä metroasemaa, merta, ostoskeskusta ja ruokapaikkoja. Hotelli oli tosi siisti ja hyvin varusteltu. Aamupala oli myös runsas. Katolla sijaitseva uima-allas alue, kuntosali, naisten kauneushoitola oli myös hyvä. Suosittelen!

Nice hotel 150 meters from Marina watefront. Pool on rooftop is not all too great, noisy and very hard to get service of staff there. A bit tricky control of temperature and lights in the room. Many Russian and Korean guests (they have a Korean and a Russian bar too).

Vi bodde på hotellet i 8 dagar. Rummet var lagomt stort och inget saknades på rummet. Vårat rum hade dock ett badkar som var av dålig kvalitet och en minibar som det inte gick att få riktigt kall - om amn nu ska vara petig. Maten på hotellet var ett plus. Taxi är billigt och tunnelbanan ligger bara 5 min bort. Det tar också ca 5 min till stranden och […] flera bra restauranger i närheten.
