Jumeirah Creekside Hotel - Dubai

The hotel layout and rooms are great, yet the staff is terribly disorganized. We stayed twice over the course of 2 weeks. The first time we had no hot water during our 2 day stay, despite informing the staff three times. Then the room service knocked on our door at 10.30pm, waking us up from jetlag sleep. The second time we arrived at 2.30pm, the room […] "was not yet ready" and we had to wait in the lobby for half an hour. Once it was ready, they had put too few beds in the room. We had a fantastic stay overnight on way from Melbourne to the UK. Everything you need has been thought about and the service was amazing. The room was beautiful and we took the free shuttle bus to Wild Wadi water park which was complimentary with the hotel and it was a great experience! Highly recommend the hotel and only 5 mins from the airport.

One of the criteria for choosing this hotel wes the sauna. It was clearly mentioned in the website. Our kids were looking forward to getting into sauna, because they miss sauna from their childhood home in Scandinavia. First impressions of the hotel were very good. Room was lovely the only downside was lack of hot water in the morning for a shower and a loose toilet seat. Didn't complain though as I was only there one night for business. Free wifi which was appreciated.

Newest hotel in jumeriah group. Very modern hotel in the creekside area close to the airport, and no noise from any building work. Rooms were very spacious, extremely comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. My experience of this hotel is all good. The short taxi ride from the airport was a bonus. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The hotel is relatively new, and it's design is modern and contemporary. The rooms ooze luxury and the free mini bar, which was restocked daily was brilliant. The hotel is new and so everything is in first class condition. I was impressed with the thought that had gone in to security at the hotel. You cannot select any floor from the lobby lifts unless you have an electronic room key, and then it will only let you select the floor you are staying on or the 8th floor terrace bar. There are also security staff […] at the lifts and entrances to deal with any situation. The hotel has four restaurants of different tastes, a well equipped gym and spa and the rooms are fully automated (curtains, four light level settings, digital phone system, tv and *wifi). Room service was excellent and the complimentary soft drinks mini bar much appreciated. The hotel is well situated and taxis are relatively inexpensive so nowhere is too far away. Although I would definitely class the staff as highly professional, a couple of teething points need to be addressed. I booked a single king bedded room but was given a twin...ok, as I was unaccompanied I could live with that. On check in (3 days before check out) I agreed a late check out. On check out day, I was called twice in room to vacate even after explaining that I had an agreed late check out. There should have been a note on file! On check out, there was a large dinner bill on my account though I had none. There is still some construction going on but its improvements. The hotel just opened in July. The rooms are absolutely great! The staff is very helpful as well. In my initial room the TV kept turning off automatically. They had to change it out so they put me in a new room. It was right next door so that was good. I was on the same floor as the bar […] and didnt hear the music playing into the night as one reviewer put it. The area around is still under construction but that was not a hinderance. There are taxi's and a hotel shuttle to take you whereever you need to go. My only gripe would be that the shuttle doesnt run after 930p. The hotel is 5 min from the airport which was great as well. After a tired day of travel your in your room in no time at all. I did have to wait a bit to check in though because I was there early. I recommend calling and letting them know when you will arrive. The taxi's are really cheap as well. It cost 13AED to get to the airport. Same to get back from Festival City because the shuttle didnt run anymore. If you look it up that is about 4 or 5 dollars. This was our second time in Dubai in 3 years. We couldn't afford the last 5* hotel we stayed in the last time we came so booked this 5* hotel when it had not even started operating for business. We took an excellent gamble as everything worked out perfectly. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service […] was good, providing access to the main shopping malls (Deira, Dubai and Emirates). The hotel provides free tickets to the Wild Wadi water park and free access to the private beach by the Medinat Jumeirah hotel. The hotel also provide free wi-fi, complimentary soft drinks, fruits, snacks and water daily. The location is great as it is near anything you may need i.e restaurants, metro, pharmacy and hospital. The hotel is very close to the airport, less than 15 minutes drive. Taxis from the airport have a base rate of 20 dirhams, it costs about 36 dirhams to the hotel. From the hotel to the airport is therefore only about 16 dirhams. I enjoyed my stay here similarly to how I enjoyed the last hotel I stayed in 3 years ago and will recommend Jumeirah Creekside Hotel. Staff so friendly, helpful and accomodating. They ask for your name and refer to you by it throughout your stay! what can i say but superb, hotel is new so everything is state of the art, staff made our holiday fab, professional but welcoming and made everyone feel special, couldnt do enough for you. The view from the roof top bar is amazing. The hotel itself is clearly a Jumeirah Group hotel with all its advantages. Close to the airport. The staff was very service minded. Nice new hotel, very clean and modern, close to airport - but 20 min drive away from town. Shuttle service a plus to malls and beach/waterpark, but also a long drive it took almost one hour to reach the beach because of stops at different malls!
