Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra - Accra

I am a regular business traveler to Accra and the service is great. The staff attend to your needs. Beautiful pool and work out facilities. Pricier than neighboring hotels but you pay for the comfort away from home.

This is my first stay at Movenpick and I have to say, it was awesome! The hotel is top luxury, a grand modern hotel, in global terms. It is very comfortable with splendid food, both Ghanaian and international. It has a huge swimming pool, and a good sports centre. The staff, like everyone in Ghana, are welcoming and helpful. My only reservation concerned a small air-conditioning problem.

I think staff training is something that needs immediate attention. I stayed at the club floor (6th floor). The choice of snacks was very limited and the food was never (i tried twice) there when it should have been. When it was there, the quality was good. The staff seem to have their favourites who they serve with enthusiasm. Also, on a number of […] occassions there was nobody at the club floor reception. I once askd for the phone number for an airline (TAP) office in Accra. I had to wait for 2 hours and when I enquired again (after two hours), I was given the number in Lisbon!!!. I had a couple of guests with me once at a table just outside the lobby (pool side). We had to wait for 25 minutes and then had to ask one of the security men to help us get a waiter. The security guard told us that it is very busy and waiter will come after a while. When I asked the waiter what took him so long, he said "so what do you want". No apology. No sorry. Overall, I think the hotel is way overpriced. Although I was really excited about trying the new hotel out, I don't think I will go out of my way to stay there..... Pročitajte više

The best hotel I've stayed in in Ghana with good food, good service and lovely, well equipped rooms. My room smelled a tiny bit damp but most places do in a coastal climate. Negatives: 1. We could not get a wireless Wifi connection in our room, but we could get signal in the lobby with help from the IT butler. 2. The restaurant menu was limited. 3. It was quite hard to get prompt service in the cocktail bar. Positives: Everything else was perfect, this is one of the best hotels in Accra, if not the best.

We began the year 2012 in the Mövenpick hotel in Accra. It was a great experience. The hotel is only 7 month opened and is overwhelming! Lived up to its status as the top hotel in Acra bu clearly not designed for visitors rather than business people as no tours or foreign exchange available (had to go to Novotel for FX ). Standard was very high but part of hotel not yet finished . Would go back

Parfait ! rien de plus à ajouter. La planche à repsser disponible dans l'armoire est une bonne idée, ainsi que le haut-parleur porte I-phone. Le personnel est sympathique et compétent. Un séjour mémorable. Le petit-déjeuner est autant un plaisir des yeux que des papilles.

Dieses neue Hotel bietet höchsten Komfort. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Das zeigt sich natürlich auch im Zimmerpreis . Aber es ist angenehm und schön, alle Vorzüge dieses Hotels zu genießen. Ich kann nur empfehlen das Hotel auch für einen schönen Urlaub zu buchen, sonst wird es vor allem von Geschäftsreisenden genutzt.
