Hotel Center - Ljubljana

The hotel is conveniently located between train station and the old city. Staff is very friendly but only available between 8 am and 4 pm. Hotel facilities is very basic -there is not even a TV in the room. Hotel guest is required to pay cash for room charge upon arrival.

Not to be confused with the grander Central Hotel in town, this is on the upper floor above a bar, with access to the part staffed reception at the rear. The rooms are newly furnished and good, with ensuite shower/wc. However the road outside is a noisy bus route. Discount breakfast is good at the adjacent cafe. Got to the hotel tofind a sign that said I had to go to a nearby shop to book in. The girl in the shop, whilst being polite told me she could only accept cash, not what I had intended to use. The room had a large amout of plaster missing from the wall above the bed. Overall not the best of experiences.

The hotel is very nice, just in the centre of Ljubljana. The room was very cosy, the bed - comfortable, the showercabin - clean. I didn't expect from 2 star hotel such a room. The only thing: if you check in after 4 pm, there is nobody at the reception and you have to call a guy from a bar, he will check you in. hotel centar is nicely located and close to the attractions. they do not have a parking space, but public parking is available within 300 meters. this is definitely one of the nicer 2 star hotels I have seen. staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotellet är lätt att hitta och välkänt i staden. De ligger över en nattklubb vilket vi som ett gäng 20åringar uppfattade som en bra grej, men kanske inte lika rolig för barnfamiljen och äldre. hotellet var pristvärt. men tänkt på att betala med kontanter och att ta med egen tandkräm!

Wir besuchten Ljubljana im November, das heisst das Hotel war nicht ausgebucht. Es könnte sein, dass bei voller Auslastung die Räumlichkeiten etwas hellhörig sind. + mycket bra läge + bra dush - buller utifrån gatan - varmt (ingen luftkonditionering) En sak att notera kan vara att det bara är kontant betalning som gäller, trots att man bokar med kreditkort. Ingen dygnetrunt-bemanning i "receptionen", så det kan vara värt att kontrollera om man tex kommer sent (utan att veta säkert fick jag känslan av att personen […] som tog emot oss var där så sent bara för att vi skulle komma).
