"Would stay again"
I was pleased with everything from the room and bed comfort to the receptionist making suggestions about what to do the evening we had there. Beautiful countryside and ferry access to Pembrook just a short drive away. The hotel was about ten minutes from the Rosslare Ferry Terminal so was well placed for an early morning check in. However being on the main road it was fairly noisy - all night!. "Barely tolerable"
The extractor fan at rear of hotel made the room stink of cooking oil. We could not open the window as a result, making the room very hot. "BW Rosslare Danby Lodge - great for early ferries"
Hotel very handy for Rosslare ferry port, just 5 minutes drive down the main road to Wexford. Staff pleasant although as the hotel was quiet the only girl covering reception and the restaurant was a bit over-stretched so took a while to check in and get served at the bar. Bathroom very dated with lots of silicone filling holes in the tub where handles […] had been removed and I couldn't move the shower head (didn't want to get hair wet) so had to have a bath instead, plenty of hot water though. Only other minor quibbles were just 4 channels on the TV and the bedroom door rattled evey time someone opened a door in the corridor. "NO HOT WATER!!"
The staff were pleasant and the room was fine. However, I could not shower the morning of my departure as there was no hot water. The porter/receptionist said one of the pumps had broken down, and half the bedrooms in the hotel had no hot water. This was very, very frustrating as a hot shower is one of the basic requirements for a successful stay in […] a hotel. I will NOT stay in this hotel again for this reason. "Danby Hotel Best Western Rosslare"

My Wife and I made a 'last minute' booking in this hotel. We were very pleased with every aspect of the Hotel, the staff and the service was excellent. What great value! Thank you.
