Wyndham Garden Panama City - Panama City

I was traveling with my wife and 15 month old daughter and the Wyndham Garden made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is clean, looks new, and the staff were very helpful. They were able to help us by providing a nice, new pack and play crib for our daughter to sleep in and had it brought to the room and helped set it up within 10 minutes of our arrival. […] In particular, the bell boy Enrique, was so friendly and helpful, he really made settling in easy. We will definitely look to stay here on our next visit to Panama City. The included breakfast was much better than expected. Not just bagels and juice. The staff at the hotel was first class. They were very helpful and gave the best service I have ever experienced at any hotel I have ever experienced. I would say that excellent would not be a good enough rating for them. The rooms were super clean. The hotel was close to everything. My room was very comfortable.

when we arrived to the hotel,it was late, my wife was thirsty, there was no bottle water in the room like most hotels do ( I am talking about courtesy welcome bottle water) the mini bar refrigerator was empty, She called the front desk receptionist and asked him why there was no bottle water in the room ,I was schocked when she was told to drink water […] off the faucet, that it was of good drinking quality or to pay $2.50 cents for each 17 oz., honestly is not the answer I was expecting. but over all good food and excellent cleaning service. by the way the parking lot is a bit too small. We stayed here for the 2 days prior to our departure from the city. The hotel is great for a short 2 --- 3 day stay , but I think anything longer would be a stretch. The hotel was very clean, the people were great, they even upgraded us to a 5-star luxury hotel when our room was not available on the first day (paid for the cab, room, etc). The facilities are very nice and comfortable, but do not expect any service from the front desk. I put in three wake up call and received none of them. Missed a tour because of it. When I asked for a manager I was told there is no one until the next Monday which was of course a day I would have been gone.

We enjoyed our two night stay there and it is close to the banking district. I walked a lot in the area at night and felt very secure. Breakfast is only fair in the hotel with limited menu. Breakfast the worst ive had in a hotel. Front desk couldnt even get a cab. They missed an important wake up call. Rooms and bathroom ok, clean. Public areas dreadful, messy and owners must not have a sense of quality control.

Good location, very near to the shopping centers, the staff are very friendly, specially Lourdes and Nicolas. The price is perfect. I definitely will recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Wyndham was very pleasant. The rooms are very clean, staff courteous and helpful especially Nicolas. The breakfast is GREAT..you will be satisfied!! We had a pleasant stay witih reasonable rates. I would definitely stay there again. This hotel appears to be centrally located close to restaurants, banks and other places of business. […] We were in Panama to have fun and not to contract business. However, our room on the 4th floor overlooked a dumpster which I did not find very pleasant. This hotel is not located in the touristy part of Panama City (Go to Balboa Avenue or New Panama) The hotel will call you a cab for resonable rates. Rooms have a great space. It was very comfortable. No noise at all during night. I requested a crib for my baby and they already had it ready when we got there. Worst service of all, if you expect 4 star treatment, better expect nearly half a star. Rooms never cleaned on time. One day it was 5 in the afternoon and we had to beg for housekeeping. Air conditioner extremely loud. Also we asked for early check in because of a medical condition and it never worked, they argued that they had a lot of work and no […] time for cleaning on time, so no rooms were available. Fantastastic rooms with internet and TV on wall. Great marble bathroom and floors. In the best part of th city, Obarrio, far from the sleaze around El Panama Hotel area and Metro construction noise. Close to excellent restaurants known to the locals and visitors (and I am one). Downside...no pool.

Nice hotel, but unfortunately there was a piece of paper on the floor underneath the bathroom sink when I arrived and the following day the same piece of paper was still on the floor, so the cleaning wasn't done properly

Conveniently located, not close to alot of restaurants. Front desk staff was exceptional in their service recommendations and response. Rooms were all updated and contemporary, excellent shower pressure but drain couldn't keep upwith volume of water :) no flood but inch of water collected. I had stayed here once before and knew I wanted to come back. Rooms are clean and luxurious, and the free wifi works great. It's just off the Vía España, and there are plenty of restaurants close by in all directions. My stay overall was very good... staying on the first floor facing a horribel parking lot was not the best but then again, I use hotels to sleep and not to enjoy the view. No biggie. Breakfast was included but did not get a chance to eat given my schedule. Great value and excellent internet connection.

The Hotel is ok. However we had a few problems. The first night around 3am a group of people arrived to the hotel making lots of noice. They were yelling from room to room on the whole floor. After 40 minutes they finally stopped. I have complained the next morning wishing this problem would have happened again. However the next two nights happened […] exactly the same. I called to the front desk asking for the manager but the receptionist told me there were none one during the night. I went to rest but wasn't possible because neither the receptionist or the security guard weren't able to make the people stop the party and the yelling at the floor every night. Also they don't take into account if you are a Wyndham by Request member. They just laugh at you if you mentioned. Finally I ask for the maintenance guy to check the AC because it was sounding very loud. The wall was shaking as a result of the malfunction of the AC. Just a regular hotel. Beware of the AC in your room. It might be pointed right to your face. This made all of my 5 nights a bit uncomfortable. The hotel is far from other fancy hotels, so don´t expect to be in the best neighborhood of Panam City, although it´s not much different from the rest of the city.

My rating is most influenced by the rate i was able to get of 100 per nite. Only thing i regret is not booking additional nites. Convenient location and high quality rooms...gym is little modest and restaurant so so...but who cares since so many good restaurants nearby. Also safe to walk around.

The Hotel is overprices, over-rated. Room was ok, walls need to be cleaned up. Breakfast ok. Staff were not very enthusiastic. The neighborhood was not the greatest. I would stay at this Hotel if you can get an awesome deal, otherwise stay somewhere else

Traveled w/ 4 friends for one night while traveling thru Panama City. Location is ok but not really near anything. Staff was nice, room was pretty standard for a Wyndham, wi-fi internet was spotty and the gym was very bare bones - 2 treadmills, a bench and some weights.

Great hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, reminds me of a five star hotel, it just lacks a pool and the breakfast could be better.The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

My room was clean, however my friend"s had some smelly pillows and the aircondition was not working properly. Eerybody was very helpful and the pillow cases were changed by the time we returned from dinner. The dining staff were excellent.
