"Great hotel, great staff, great location! :)"
Recenziju je napisao Hotels.com gost sij 12, 2013The hotel is located very near the Clot metro station (the best in terms of connections to other metro lines), only a few blocks from the Sagrada Familia and Agbar tower. The staff is very friendly, helpful and had presents for New Years for all hotel guests and has done numerous "little touches" to surprise the guests. We will book this hotel again. Too bad the chai has no hotels in other cities outside Spain.

"Central to buses and fantastic staff"
The hotel is very central to where buses drop off from airport. Metro is also nearby. On arrival, check in was fast and efficient. Concierge attended to bags and once checked in, we were brought to our room and shown all the facilities. This is important as toilet is hidden behind a secret door. The hotel has a fine bistro and a michelin star restaurant. […] We used neither as we were travelling about all day and tended to eat in restaurants close to where we ended up hungry! There is also a rooftop chill out pool and sun terrace, with fantastic views of the city. The only down side was that there was no kettle in the room to make a cup of coffee. "Modern hotel in a great location"
A modern boutique style hotel with a lot of themed black, which can be a little oppressive. The room was well designed with a feature of an open plan bathroom and bedroom with the shower isolated in the middle. Unfortunately the bed was very hard and the window wouldn't open, which made it a little stuffy. The restaurant is excellent with a superb tapas […] bar on the lower ground, also they serve an excellent breakfast. The location at the top of the Gothic quarter couldn't be better. After reading the other reviews I selected Ohla because of the high rating and value. The hotel exceeded our expectations in service, location, and cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quite - we slept very well. The main part of the bathroom did not have a door, but the toilet had a door and the glass shower door steams up […] real quick. The breakfast was great with good variety and plenty of food. "Check in lets it down"
Hotel very modern and in great central location. Concierge very nice, friendly and helpful. Room lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Housekeeping very good. Unfortunately the check in lady tried to charge us 59 Euros for our little girl when we had already paid for her. She reluctantly withdrew and then as we left she said we had to pay 5 Euros […] city tax. We refused as our bill stated we had already paid all the taxes and she said (and did) take it from our card account anyway. It left a bitter taste in our mouth. Wonderful hotel very good location. Very clean and fresh room and the pool/chill out area on the roof is amazing. The restaurant is unreal. The tapas food was beautiful. "Great Romantic Hotel for Couples"
My wife and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary in Barcelona at we stayed at the Ohla Hotel, which was absolutely beautiful. The hotel offers "wonderful" accommodations with a spectacular view of the city, and is centrally located in the heart of everything. We were a short walk from countless restaurants, site seeing, historical sites, the beach […] and even the train system (should you wish to venture outside the central down town area). The staff was very attentive and extremely accommodating at all levels. Included with our stay was a beautiful buffet breakfast assortment, along with specialty dishes made to order. The open-air roof-top bar was equally as inviting in the evening, after a long day of experiencing the many treasure throughout the city. A great way to relax before enjoying a spectacular dinner in the hotel, or venturing out to the countless other restaurants within walking distance. All in all...we gave it 5 stars. The architectural style is debatable, with the shower box transparent and in the middle of the room, with open bathroom and thank good for small favors, a toilet seat closed. "Beautiful Old Quarter Location ! Fantastic bar!"
Right by the cathedral and Palau de la Musica Catalana was across the street. We loved the upstairs bar on the roof but the Mojitos were very pricey. The tiny pool is useless. The real rockstar place in the hotel was the main street restaurant. We ate there three times and had breakfast there also since it was included in our hotel package and the food […] was incredibly delicious. The waitstaff in there were truly magnificent - the Maitre D' was fabulous - we absolutely loved him - so charming! As for our hotel room, the double glazed windows were great. We were on the 2nd floor and could here the distant rumbling of the underground but did not find it too disturbing. Everything was very clean but we were a bit upset that we had a queen size bed instead of a king size bed we paid for. We were only there for two nights and were too tired to complain when we came in but I hate it when the check in woman just can't be bothered to do it right. The concierge desk were very nice but seemed more interested in the football scores sometimes and did not order a taxi for the airport when we asked the night before. Luckily we came down for breakfast and doubled checked so it was there when we came down with our luggage. It is about total 35 euros to the airport by taxi. They add about a 10 euro charge to the fares so don't be surprised if you see another charge tacked on to your fare. All in all, not a bad place to stay if you use the restaurant and the bar. I think the pictures on the site made the hotel look better than it actually is .It was expensive for what it was. It is well positioned close to the Ramblas. The room is simple and reasonable size . The breakfast was very good . the staff were very helpfulAutentične Hotels.com recenzije gostiju

The staff at the Ohla couldn't have been nicer, and Barcelona is a happening city. We got wonderful assistance and recommendations from the concierges, each of whom were helpful and attentive. This hotel could be classed as Nouveau. Very modern, very art deco-ish. The location is in the heart of the gothic area. Easy walking distance to Las Ramblas and the Cathedral. As others have written, the shower is open to the room, so modesty is out the window. The toilette is hidden behind a door that blends with the wall, so a little confusing at […] first. But overall I found the room very comfortable, clean and unique. The bellhop and concierge service are superb! They answered all our questions and then some! And there is the nicest lounge area on the roof that gives you a great view of the city. If you like super modern hotels, this is the place to be! Stayed 4 nights in a Junior Suite. Great price including breakfast via Hotels.Com. I have previously stayed at H1898 but it was full and I liked the look of this. I was not disappointed, although H18981 just pips it as my favourite, i would definately stay here again. Price was cheaper than 1898 and facilities were great. Location wise - this is better […] than 1898. Walking distance to beach/barri gottica/plaza catulunya/cathedral/shops etc. Whereas 1898 is right on Ramblas..it sometimes felt too frantic ..this is much more sedate feeling. Staff were excellent..concierge booked restaurant for me prior to my arrival..reception were accomodating and friendly. I got a late 5pm check out (for small charge) which was brilliant. room was ready before 2pm arrival too..so no complaint. Junior Suite was lovely/spacious/sexy (open plan bathroom/bedroom).
