Everything about our stay exceeded expectations! Love the pool, love the breakfast, absolutely love the suite!!!

The customer service at this hotel is above excellent. The entire staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. We would stay here again, just based on the customer service. The room was very clean and well maintained. If I had to pick something to change, it would be the sliding bathroom door, but otherwise it was perfect. Large corner suite on 16th floor was a great pick for a family trip.Full breakfast and evening manager's reception were plus. Hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. Restaurants, entertainment, and shopping were all within walking distance. Enjoyable stay.

The room was nice and comfortable. But since we were 6 of us and we paid for the extra guests separately, I was expecting to have extra towels and pillows, comforters, coffee etc. ready for us but nothing was there. They put only 2 soap bars! The worst part was that the bathroom door did not have a lock from inside! The lock insisde the bedroom door […] was stuck and once in the night at 2'o clock I got licked outside when I went too the bathroom. The staff was pretty friendly. The hotel stay was great and the staff was amazing. The location is ideally located between the Toyota Center and Minute Maid Field and is within walking distance to both. The rooms are well kept and have ice cold bottled water in the rooms. This is definitely a great stay for business or pleasure.

Hotel seems to be fairly recently built. Rooms are modern, well appointed and clean. Beds are extremely comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is very good... get there before 9am on the weekends as the line can get long.

This was the first stay for my husband and me. We loved it so much we have come back to town to stay here again for a few more days before heading west. When we enter the room of hotel, "Wow" is our first word. It's like we live in the five star hotel but didn't pay the price. The design is contemporary and the equipment is more than enough (two big screen TVs, one small refrigerator with two bottles of water, one microwave). The living room is separated from bedroom. This hotel is definitely one of my favs in Downtown Houston! Very nice, clean and comfy and the room was huge! You will not be disappointed! The breakfast was great, line was long and they could have had more employees working but all in all we had a wonderful stay!

The hotel was exceptional in almost every way! The only complaint my party had was against other guests really. The bridesmaids stayed together in a suite the night before the wedding. When we initially arrived at the hotel, we were followed around on our floor by two men. We turned to ask them what it was they wanted. They replied, "Y'all goin' to […] get drunk anyways! Where yo room at?!" We immediately called for help from the front desk and they sent a nice lady up to our floor to assist us. After the incident, they offered to upgrade our suite and to move us to a different floor. The employees did not hesitate in their willingness to help. Terrific location for events at the George Brown Convention Center and the Toyota Center. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping as well. Staff and service were excellent, however, they were not "set up" for the convention crowd. Clean room with microwave, refrigerator, nice tvs and free wifi. Air conditioning seemed to struggle and it was the easier Oct weather, so it might be an issue in August. I recently spent the weekend at this hotel during the weekend of UFC 136 in Houston. The hotel was busy but the service was still excellent. The rooms are so nice and comfortable. Unfortunately there was no bathtub in the room. No big deal, but I usually prefer a bath to a shower. Breakfast was delightful-be sure to take advantage of it. I probably would have used the cheaper self parking behind the hotel, but being such a busy weekend downtown, parking everywhere was full. The one thing I was a bit upset with was the fact that the wireless internet was down all Saturday that I was there. This is a VERY nice hotel, brand new and clean. The area is kind of rough outside, excluding Discovery Green, of course. Parking is AWFUL and they charge a WHOLE LOT per night. Needless to say, the lot was empty. Parking at the Hilton across the street is available for less than half and you can walk through the Hilton to get there very easily. this new hotel is incredible. i used to stay in the other hotel next to the convention center when staying in houston, but i will never stay anywhere other than the embassy when i come to houston. im a road warrior and have high standards for hotels. this one is quiet and cozy, unlike the other huge convention hotel. i had a coner room, which was huge, […] like my own personal apartment. the linens were incredible, but i did have to call down to get a robe, they dont have them waiting in the rooms. awesome hot tubs, great room service, cooked to order breakfast included. even though i live in the area, i stayed an extra night after my business meeting was over just because i wanted to stay and feel pampered. the bathrooms are spa like. if you have a convention center activity, stay here, and enjoy discovery park when your meetings are done. then avoid the huge crowded hotel across the street and go retire to you private apartment at the embassy suite. just make sure you ask for that robe when u check in. If you're attending an event at the Toyota Center, this is definitely the place to stay. It was in VERY short walking distance to the venue. The hotel is beautifully maintained. Every person we encountered at the hotel was friendly and helpful, including the valet folks! Upon returning to the hotel after the concert at the TC, we realized there were […] NO surrounding restaurants in that area downtown that were still open. Luckily, the hotel staff advised us of late night dinning options in the area and let us know that room service was available all the way up to 5 AM. We opted for room service, which arrived promptly within the time they advised initially. The food was nice and hot! This hotel also has a Manager's Reception over a two-hour period with complimentary drinks and snacks, which was great! We were able to meet other concert-goers and mingle in a nice area. Our room was fabulous, clean, and comfortable. The pillows and the bed were awesome and we slept incredibly well! The bathroom was spacious and very clean; the shower was fantastic! The TVs in the room have a seriously good deal of channels available (in HD nonetheless!), which really surprised us! The cooked-to-order breakfast had a great variety of foods, including hot eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee, tea, etc. After checking out, the valet was prompt to retrieve our vehicle. Very nice hotel, super convenient location! It's only about one block away from the Toyota Center, two from House of Blues. The rooms are very nice and beds are super comfy. The breakfast is a big plus, just make sure to get there early the lines are big! I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is new, clean, gorgeously decorated (modern), the rooms are spacious and beautiful. All the staff we met were nice and friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks in the evening and LOVED the complimentary breakfast! Nothing but good things to say about this hotel!

Really nice hotel. New. Walls seemed paper thin so if you have a noisy neighbor good luck.

Very clean and modern with amazing bathroom. No tub, but plenty of extras in living room and bedroom like flat screens in both rooms, sleeper sofa and private bedroom. This is a hotel I could bring my autistic daughter to and have my privacy but still have her in the same room for safety. The rooftop pool is also good for kids, only 4 ft deep. Staff […] was great with only exception being valet. It took a little time to get our vehicle. Parking in another lot is not an option on weekend nights since event prices are in effect and therefore as pricey as valet. I feel valet should either be less expensive or included. Quote $28 then tack on tax on top of that plus pay tips in and out. only complaint.

The only negative comment I have is that the room was cold in one side and warm in the other side where the beds were located. I had the AC down to 65 degrees all day and it remained at 70 degrees at night and it realy did not feel like 70. Other than that it was very comfortable bed and room.
