We had a nice visit to the Cairns area; Palm Cove was ideal location--near enough to Cairns, but away from the city. Amphora was great for our family, offering the separate bedrooms for our teenagers and including a kitchen. Beautiful spot on a perfect beach. Just be careful of the time of year that you travel as the jelly fish are a serious concern in this area.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. My original room was small, and faced the on site restaurant, however, i upgraded to a beach front apartment and i was pleased with the room. Spacious, clean and a fantastic view of the ocean (The beach is literally across the road). The room had a large living room and kitchen (inc washing machine and dryer) (missing […] a few utensils though), but generally really clean. Apartments are on 3 floors, but unfortunately there are NO lifts, so it was a struggle to lift your suitcases to the top floor especially in tropical heat. Fault was that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbours day/ night and the room was not cleaned whilst i was there (apparently if you stay for a week, the room is cleaned) Palm Cove is a lovely area, shops are quite local and the supermarket is a short bus ride away (buses come frequent).Ideal location if you want to go to the Rainforest (Daintree). Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay again; make sure you book a beach view as you also get the much needed breeze from the ocean in the stifling humidity. Pročitajte više

We really enjoyed this resort. The family loved the pool area and the rooms. I was surprised to find little brown ant in the kitchen but we saw them in other cafes...all part of life in the tropics. This services was excellent in the hotel. We also found it convenient to shop at Clifton beach supermarket for groceries.

my partner and i came to palm cove for the eclipse and we had a fantastic time, however there was no room service or room cleaning, we stayed for 5 nights and no one attempted to contact us about the option of room cleaning nor did we get told when we checked in that there was no turn down service for our room. for a 4.5 star hotel i think somthing […] should be specified...pool was awesome! The hotel did not have any concierge service to take our bags to our room on the third floor, no lift, stairs only, however the overall stay was lovely, the room was great and the facilities were great, the only thing was there was no alcohol allowed in the pool area, and there was no bbq facilities around the pool for guests to use.

it was very relaxing the pool is superb the fascillities were excellent the allowed for an upgrade from the room we has booked the gardens provided a real tropical experience the beach was right there the facilities and shops locally available weere all there.

It was my daughters birthday and I wanted it to be special. I was going to upgrade her room but they said she was in a lovely hotel spa room overlooking the pool. We were really disappointed as the only veiw was an ugly fence.

The hotel is quite nice looking for the value for money. If you are after a quiet relaxing trip it might be better to stay at one of the other resorts along the eslpanade as Mantra had lots of young families who were constantly very loud! We have been to Palm Cove a number of times before but never stayed at The Mantra Amphora. Thought we would give it a try this time and we were happy with our time there and would certainly stay there again.

The Mantra Amphora is due for refurbishment. Our room had a mouldy smell and curtains and throw cushions needed cleaning. Bathroom was dated. The pool area was well kept. Not up to the same standards as other Mantra properties.

A good choice for families - a nice hotel. Restaurant Vivo out the front is very good, it's close to Numi's ice cream ( yum), The Shak ( designer clothes) and Chill Cafe ( best coffee in town). Palm Cove is generally a bit expensive so save money for all the add on tours!

This was our first stay at the Mantra Amphora , our second time at Palm Cove .We chose the Mantra Amphora as it's location and reviews were favourable . We were not disappointed in any way . The apartment was ground floor with pool views and offered direct access to the pathway leading to the beach and the attached restaurant . The inclusions were all […] high quality including the fully equipped kitchen with its European stove, microwave oven and dishwasher . The size of the apartment was very generous and led to a spacious feel .The front office staff were helpful in all respects , advising us of car hire and local attractions .I would have no hesitation in recommending the Mantra Amphora . The Mantra at Palm Cove is in an Ideal location close to pleasant beaches and various cafe's and restaurants. The staff at the Mantra were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Pros: great location (although there's not actually that much to do in Palm Cove itself and the beach was closed the whole ten days we were there because of stingers.. but beautiful nonetheless#, hotel was a few minutes walk from the bus stop to Cairns #great for us as we didn't hire a car#, really nice swimming pool with lots of sun lounges to read […] etc, quiet, relaxing, the Vivo restuarant was great for coffee/milkshakes #although we never had any meals there#, the staff were VERY helpful when it came to booking tours etc.. lots of information and they were able to get us cheaper deals. Cons: very uncomfortable bed #I read a review on expedia before I left complaining about the bed and I thought 'suck it up'.. but it was a very hard bed and very hard to sleep on.. I woke up with a sore and/or sore back on several mornings...#, there were these really tiny ant-like bugs in our kitchen, our aircon didn't work for several days despite being fixed a couple of times by maintenance.. but the hotel staff were really nice about it and moved us to another 1 bedroom apartment #where the aircon worked great, but there were still ants and uncomfortable beds!#. Our first holiday since our honeymoon over a year ago. Palm Cove is beautiful. Mantra Amphora resort grounds, gardens and pool are wonderful. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and appointed. We made use of the kitchen to self cater but discovered too late there were only 2 garbage bin liners for the kitchen. I don't mind that the room tarif […] doesn't include service - I have no issue using bath towels for more than 1 day (helps the environment!) or making my own bed. However, the least Management could do is provide more than 2 garbage bin liners for the kitchen (We were there for the better part of a week). In a tropical climate bugs and ants are naturally more of an issue. This resort doesn't deliver on the most basic of necessities - a comfortable bed. It was rock hard. My husband and I took turns getting a couple of hours sleep on the couch each night. We both had to use Voltaren and Nurofen to help with the tension knots. We returned to Sydney less relaxed and more exhausted than when we left. We would like to visit Palm Cove again as we were both too exhausted from lack of sleep to fully enjoy the area. We will not return to the Mantra Amphora. We also won't choose other Mantra hotels or resorts for future accommodation needs. Pročitajte više

Wonderful resort, particularly for the price. Beautiful pool and gardens, lovely restaurant. Only fly in the ointment, the proximity of other rooms means that people smoking on their balconies, caused us to keep our door closed much of the time. Not something you want to do in the tropics.

Clean, large and modern apartment. Full kitchen/laundry facilities. Fantastic pool. Very central to everything. Would recommend to anybody particularly ones with kids. Will stay again

With the exception of a intermittent beep that both the hotel maintenance and a local contractor not fixing in 24hrs, the stay at this hotel was very good (Mantra Staff, Please make sure your cleaners make the effort to ensure the appliances are turned off and the microwave is reset, before a new guest stays in the room). 3歳の息子を含む家族3人で6日間滞在しましたが、 コストパフォーマンスもロケーションも満足度も高かったです。 ・お風呂も大人が3人で入れるくらい広い。 ・シャワーの水圧も問題なし。すぐにお湯も出る。 ・プールは3歳の子どもでも安心設計で水も毎日キレイ。 ・レストランVivoも、オージービーフにしては柔らかくおいしかったです。 ・レンタカーなら、市街地まで約30分。ポートダグラス、キュランダまで1時間弱。 　ショッピングセンター、動物園（コアラ、カンガルーあり）も５分圏内です。 ポートダグラスよりもおすすめです。
