Good bargain for this part of Manila. Good about this hotel is free wi-fi and breakfast...and the bfast wasn't a buffet but a full menu list which you can change items...this is great if your staying multiple nights and want to change things up. The rooms were ok and clean...the neighborhood is clean of the bars and drinking holes which seem to be everywhere […] around. The Robinson's mall is in walking distance. Only problems I see if that taxis are hard to get due to the direction of Bocobo streer and parking is half a block away(but what international tourist drives in Manila?). The first night was miserable as there was some confusion about an added day at the beginning of our stay and we were overcharged for an undersized room, however when it was brought to management's attention, the problems were resolved forthwith and serendipity reigned. Do not take any room on the outside as the traffic can be quite noisy.

The room smells for the first few hours, They give you a very small shampoo that its not enough, if you ask for more there's a charge. Safety deposit box is outside your room and may be unavailable. It's nice if you just want to stay overnight but definitely not good to be with family.

What was once a great hotel appears to be now tarnished by greed from the owners. The amazing breakfast buffet has now been replaced by a fixed plate with the option of juice or coffee not both. the stay began in standard room on the 2nd floor [much favored] next upgrade was the deluxe. which was very nice, but the 3rd floor and way out on the edge of nowhere - that location was very noisy. the amenities of the room and staff were excellent - yet the long hike down - across - down and out was pretty annoying - add an elevator or a fire house […] pole to slide down would be a fine thing to add. ;) Oh if you do not like a rough type neighborhood and a dark alley kind of menacing surrounding? this is not the place for you. Staff were lovely, in fact, there were lots of extra staff everywhere oddly enough. Wifi in the rooms worked fairly well. Rooms were a little stuffy (as you couldn't open the window), however the aircon or fan helped. Food at the local restaurant was good enough too (I really enjoyed the filipino breakfast).

Bocobo st is a relatively quiet sidestreet Location is good for the tourist zones and services Super friendly staff. Place is spotless and confortable. This is a mid range hotel dont expect luxury. Breakfast had. many choices to pick from. A bit short on option besides egg related meals.

And there was one woman there named Glenda, who seemed to screw up or drop the ball about everything we ever communicated about. She told me they had something like a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Sent her an email as she suggested, never heard anything back for a month and a half. Called them again and a different guy explained how it works and that I had to go to the Nissan counter and arrangement it myself. Had it been up to Glenda, I would have been standing there expecting someone to be waiting for me and not have a clue what to do when nobody showed up. The last day of my week long stay there, I see Glenda for the first time and she's trying to charge me for six additional nights of having a guest stay overnight, when a friend only stayed over one night. She claims that's what I told her 45 days ago. I said no such thing I told her, I simply asked if a guest cost extra. She dropped that charge attempt, but she could stand to lose the attitude too. Excellent value - The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful, the food was ok, the only problem I noticed was a short in the electrical socket at the writing desk and a short in the mini fridge cord but after adjusting the cord it started to work.

I stayed here for 7 days so it could not have been too bad. Check-in was fine - there are no safes in the rooms - if you want a security box ask at the front desk (limited number). My room was clean and good-sized. I found it a little dark - I found the bathroom VERY dark - as in one low-watt light. Hotel Management: Please put a light over the sink […] - it is impossible to shave! Construction Noise: They are working on a building to the rear and it was very loud - from dawn until late into the night (11:00 PM) - I had an "odd" room but I have heard people complain about the "even" rooms due to street noise... It is Manila - deal with it... The halls are full of management trainees - a little creepy - each and every one will greet you (even if they are standing together) - it is hospitality overkill... The little restaurant is decent - they host the free breakfast - and will get you a beer if you want to sit in the lobby or outside - they could use a little service mentoring (you have to get up and chase down your server for refills or anything additional). They keep the whole place spotless - you will rarely see someone who is not cleaning. I never saw a single bug in my room - for the tropics - that is an accomplishment. Good money changer across the street - easy to get a cab - close to the Robinson Mall - less than 200 pesos t the airport in a metered cab... All-in-all a good experience... Pročitajte više
