I loved the situation of the hotel, lovely parisien buildings and streets, within walking distance to montmartre and Moulin Rouge and a metro 2 streets away to get to all the other sights, will definitely stay there again

A nice hotel located close to two Metro stations making it an ideal base to explore all of Paris. A clean room with a decent shower! The hairdryer and free WiFi were also a bonus!

Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. Variable service at breakfast but generally very good. Room quiet and comfortable and clean - pity about the month old receipt under the bed. Good location with shops and restaurants. A very good base for exploring Paris.

Convenient location. Metro is just a 5 minute walk away. Place de Clichy is close by and offers some good restaurants and easy connection on the metro to the main tourist sites. It is possible to walk to the Arc de Triumph and it is a very pleasant walk to the Sacre Coeur. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. All all in a good hotel.

The Art Hotel Batignolles exceeded my expectations. My room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and I enjoyed having a shower with a door that properly closes (many Paris hotels don't have this). Wifi worked well. I didn't notice any street noise. The front desk staff were great.

The hotel was really close to the metro (5 mins walk to la fourche) and 10 mins to place de clichy, very well-connected for doing all the tourist attractions. The room was very clean, quiet and quite spacious with a really nice and new-looking bathroom. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful! Hotel was great and close to a train station that can lead you to all the major locations in Paris. The rooms were small but otherwise very pleasant. I would recommend staying here if you are planning on spending much time at the hotel anyways.

Very good area, great location, on Blue line 13 to Mont Parnasse, fee minutes walk but it's safe, Bistro and bars on ur doorstep. First nite my room was very noisy, changed it second nite for one where aircon didn't work, but it was good, make sure you ASK for a quiet room, staff friendly and speak English! Very reasonably priced for such a central location, close proximity to Metro. Room was very clean and neat - plus small touches were appreciated such as bedside lights, bottles of water in the fridge. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay again.

This was my 5th time visiting in Paris, and this hotel was pretty nice for me and my friend for few nights stay. The closest metro is Brochant. We arrived Paris at Est Grand station, and we needed to take 2 times transfer to get the hotel. The metro line is kind of far away from main sight seeing spots in Paris. Small room. OK, all Paris hotel rooms are small, I get it. The door to our room wouldn't lock. It would shut, but then no matter what you did with the card key, the handle would move and let you open the door. After two trips downstairs for a new card key, which made no difference, the desk attendant told us she couldn't help us because she was the […] only one there and couldn't leave the desk. What!?!? Finally she came up and verified the issue. They gave us a new room, on the first floor. Across the street from two cafes, open until after 1:00am. I could hear the guy at the front desk talking at 2:00, 3:00am. We wanted change for the metro. They couldn't break anything more than a 5 Euro note. Small, "boutique" hotels in Paris. Helpful staff at checkin and breakfast, including providing baguettes warm from delivery as well as fresh coffee. Room mirror broken as was a step on the circular stairs in hall, tricky in the dark. Short walk to La Fourche Metro, the neighborhood a bit seedy on Sunday at 7AM but nice bistros right at hand in normal hours.

I was really pleased with our room at Art Hotel Batignolle the neighborhood was great lots of cafes etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful,and the room was very clean and comfortable I would stay there again when I go to Paris.

Great location - stay in the Heart of Paris where real people live - just a short walk from 2 metro station makes this hotel conveniently located. Lots of Bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding area - free wifi at the hotel. Cost effective solution for a short business trip - this was my second stay here this year.

I booked this hotel as I had read on other reviews it was in a good location. This was not the case. It takes at least 1 hour to get to the hotel from the airport, changing metro lines 3 times. New, well maintained hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. It has been mentioned that the immediate elsewhere that the area looks a little rough, but it is only 5 mins from the nearest metro, has restaurants and late opening convenience shops seconds away and we didn't once feel unsafe, even very late at night. As my title says - its avoid hotel we had a room on the 3rd floor - bigger rooms than rest of the hotel rooms so try and get one there otherwise they are pretty small.. The staff are very nice and helpful. Free wifi and transport is just a couple of blocks up we just used the bus took around 20 minutes plus we had a baby!!! There where close shops to […] get snacks and also laundry place across the road! Supermarkets, cafes, pubs, massages, manicures, are all on the same street and omg the best sushi shop up the road! The hotel rooms probably need a little work and the beds are very hard. You can hear people outside your room or the doors closing next door but it wasn't constant! They had breakfast buffet at 10 euro but we just got our own from down the road. They also had free bakery goods sitting on the table in the foyer which my daughter loved haha! Art Hotel Batignolles is in the heart of a true Parisian residential neighborhood. Vanessa works the hotel desk during weekdays - she was so helpful making sure that we had everything we needed. She enjoyed hearing about our sightseeing and was always willing to make suggestions, help make reservations over the phone on our behalf, and research how to make our stay better. Paris hotel rooms are small by American standards, but it was very comfortable for my wife and I. The room smelled good and had a clean, powerful shower. This hotel is located in a seedy part of town and despite some trip advisor reviews, it is not located within easy walking distance to many of Paris' attractions. The 10 euro tax asked for upon checking out was an unpleasant surprise (no receipt provided), as we had booked and paid including all fees and taxes.

The location was good and the area was safe. A laundromat over the road from the hotel which was excellent. Staff were helpful and the place very clean. The downside was the breakfast which was basic, cold meats on a plate and not kept cool, breakfast room was in the basement of the hotel and claustrophobic.

There were a lot of things wrong with this hotel, but the hotel manager was the worst part. We were placed over a jazz club and we couldn't sleep until it was over at 3am. They had other rooms they could have given us, but when staff checked with la Directrice (the manager), her response was that every room in the hotel was equally loud (I swear those […] are her words). Not really close to anything, we might as well stayed at the airport and taken the train into town. Even the metro was a long walk. Honestly, the remaining staff were truly excellent, but looked at as sorrowfully when they told us about the management of the hotel. Wouldn't stay in this hotel at this location for any money. Good room size per European standards, nice quiet location, very helpful desk staff. Room cleaning was adequate but nothing spectacular, paint on some walls were peeling, but didn't change the comfort of the beds. Close to metro.

The hotel is in a cool funky area, with lots of lovely streetcars and restaurants around. The hotel was really clean and the staff, particularly, Diane, we're very helpful.just as we were leaving , we actually broke one of the full length mirrors in our room and the staff wouldn't let us pay for it.

I have booked a single room for 2 nights. The neighbourhood is safe for solo girl and not far away from Monmatre (about 15-20min walk). The stuff is very helpful and speak fluent english. It is small but clean and comfort room. Two metro station are near the hotel but both need about 8-10min walk. Overall, it is a great hotel with good price!

Very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms are on the small side but the modern fixtures and the extra large shower makes up for everything. The restaurant next door, "Marche des Puces" is also worth going too. The hotel will be definitely be recommended to friends coming to Paris.

This hotel was very nice indeed. We got a lovely reception from the girl behind the desk. Without asking she got a map out and showed us the metro stations and other landmarks. Free internet. I even asked how much the charges were to phone home as my mobile wasn't working and they didnb't charge me. There weren't any down sides to it except that the […] fire alarm went off early one morning due to one of the staff pressing a button. However, they apologised profuseley. If you arrive at the Gare du Nord you can get a 54 bus right outside the station and 10 minutes later you arrive 2 minutes away from the hotel. Much better than getting the metro and you can see the sights on the way. The breakfast is 10 euros a day per person so we had a brunch locally. It would have been nice if they included a continental breakfast but you can't have everything unless you pay more. We walked to most sights wich is the best way to see Paris but the bus is much nearer than the metro which is about 10 mins away. We would definitely stay at the Art Hotel again. Pročitajte više

Had booked a double room was given a twin instead, we pointed this out to reception but the hotel was fully booked on the first night of our stay. This a was bit disappointing to say the least but it was sorted out the following day. Overall a reasonable room given the price, only other niggling thing was the lack of a kettle in the room.
