This was a Hotel close to perfection. The room, the service, the restaurants and the food were great. Our host also was very helpful and was always availabel for any support needed. Overall it was the best hotel I ever stayed in

Banyan Tree Koh Samui is perfect if you are looking for a quiet, exclusive villa-based resort in Samui. The food and service is excellent, and is the quality of rooms. The spa is very high quality. We were very lucky to have stayed at the Banyan Tree. The 5 star (maybe 6) resort in Koh Samui, Thailand is only 2 years old. Maybe that's why we got a 66% discount. Every aspect of the resort was exquisite. We were greeted with a Villa hostess who acted as our personal concierge throughout our stay. All 3 restaurants were great. I'm a real foodie, […] so that's saying a lot. Their Ceasar salad was the best I've ever had. The pizza was thin-crust and delicious. And, their nightly tasting menu of Thai food was amazing. We could have stayed the entire time in our 1 bedroom beautifully decorated and well appointed villa with its own pool. But, check out the private beach and, of course, their world class spa. If you've never had a traditional Thai massage you're in for a real treat. While the nightly rate was amazingly low for such a luxury resort, be prepared to spend some real money on food, drinks, and spa services. Samui banyan is very luxurious, and you will feel very well taken care of. Prices for food, beverages and spa services can be high, but they are also quite top notch. Do come here with a view to splurge.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting in Koh Samui and the staff go out of their way to make your stay an absolute pleasure. The service is extremely consistent and at a very high standard and the accommodation is both well presented and maintained. A super hotel.

My husband and I decided to go to Koh Samui for our 5th wedding anniversary. We wanted a hotel that was luxurious and after a recommendation from a family member, reading all the reviews and checking out their website we opted for a Banyan Tree Resort with a garden view villa on a Bed & Breakfast basis. The Resort was in a beautiful setting and the […] staff were very helpful. From the moment we landed at Koh Samui airport to the time of our departure, the service we received from Banyan Tree was impeccable. The staff was always on hand if ever we needed anything. Our villa was a garden view villa and it was lovely and secluded with it's own pool. As it was our anniversary, the staff had decorated our bed, put rose petals in a bath and left us a chocolate brownie cake and a bottle of red wine to enjoy. The interior decor and cleanliness of the room was perfect. It also had all the amenities you can think of such as a coffee machine, iPod dock, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and also mosquito spray and coil! There is also have free Wi Fi around the resort. The restaurants at the resort served fantastic food. Breakfast was held at the Edge which they served until 11am and the choice for breakfast was diverse and more than suited our requirements. On our first night we had a BBQ dinner with entertainment at Sands which is their beach front restaurant and on our final night we had dinner at their signature Thai restaurant, Saffron. The hotel is excellent in every way. Only a year old and no sign of any rough edges. If there were any teething problems, there's no sign of these now. Staff are keen, friendly, courteous - nothing's too much trouble. Many of them quickly learn your name and your likes and dislikes, and so anticipate these. After a couple of days, many of the buggy […] drivers knew our room number. The ocean view villa we had was excellent. The hotel is excellent if you simply want to relax (as my wife and I did). If you want lots of activities, perhaps try a more mainstream resort. There's a kid's room, but the hotel didn't seem to us really to be ideal for them. While teenagers would love the luxury, some may find the lack of nightlife and organised activities a negative after a few days. The nearest township Lamai is not very appealing, nor are the roads, but as we weren't interested in seeing the island's sights, this wasn't a problem. There are three restaurants, with two open on any night. If we had a criticism - and it's a small one - the Edge restaurant, which claims to have an International menu, offered only a limited range of western food. But all food (most of it Thai) is fresh and well presented. The rainforest spa is unlike anything we've ever experienced - definitely recommended! Pročitajte više

This is a gorgeous property on an isolated cove with a picturesque beach. The rooms are well furnished, comfortable, clean and spacious. The resort's isolation steers you to using their restaurants with taxis to go out being limited to hotel cars with high rates. Their restaurant food was average to inedible and overpriced. The buffet breakfast had […] a very nice assortment of foods but wasn't particularly tasty. A dinner main course I ordered was almost inedible -- overcooked and tough. My complaint led to the chef inviting us to dinner at another restaurant and telling us he would credit the cost of the bad dish to our next dinner. It was never done. The next dinner was good, not great and not worth the price. The resort caters mainly to tour groups of Korean honeymooners -- at least there weren't large numbers of children running around. The service and staff were very good, though not up to the standard of a Thai luxury hotel. Many of the staff spoke poor English, making communication a bit of a problem at times. On balance, I would not go back nor would I recommend the hotel. I would go back to the Four Seasons on Samui where I had stayed previously. Pročitajte više

ホテル従業員は皆笑顔でフレンドリー。ホテル内のアクティビティも充実（ヨガ、タイボクシング、シュノーケル）しているのでのんびり過ごすならホテル内だけで十分。ヴィラからの眺め、広さ、どれも最高！１つだけ難点をあげるとするならばアメニティがもっと充実していれば文句なしだったかも。ポーチなどカワイイのだが、持って帰れないのが残念。
