Had a 4 night stay at the Blue Diamond hotel. The hotel is located in a fantastic part of the city really close to the market and close to nice restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly but the rooms are very basic and not very well maintained. The walls are very thin and let in any noise coming from the corridor. Hotel had all the amenities you'd expect and was in a great central location in district 1. Only small issue our room had a really small window that looked out on to a wall which was really close made the room feel a bit small and dark.

There is only one small double bed provided which is definitely not possible to sleep 2 adults plus 2 children. We have to purchase additional beds to sleep.

I am very happy with this hotel. my only comments would be for Buffet breakfast. Most of the food were based with Pork meat which I do not eat pork meat. They should consider not pork meat eaters too.

Hotel is near Ben Thanh central market. It is relatively new and clean. Breakfast was OK. Taxis parked in front of hotel and are cheap to ride. Make sure to use only Vinasun or Mai Linh cabs because their fare meters are always turned on.

I stayed 3 nights at the Blue Diamond and I found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. It is in a good location close to all the main places of interest. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere and I thoroughly enjoyed the time that I spent there. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The staff was great and helped with booking tours and a bus to Siem Reap. Breakfast was great and the room was comfortable with a nice flat screen to watch the Olympics at the end of the day. Good stuff.
