We had a very nice stay at the Marriott vacation club. We had a well equipped two bedroom condo that was in like new condition and a nice view of the... Island and the bluffs. The hotel staff is very friendly. The room is tidied up daily and beds are remade and towels are changed, but not the room is not vacuumed. The location is mostly surrounded by a golf course and there is no easy beach access. There is also no easy pedestrian access to walk around the bluffs and enjoy the views as pedestrians are instructed to to stay away from the golf path. The closest beach access is the Marriott Hotel and you need to either take the shuttle van there (not always available) or walk on the street for 15 minutes. The club has a nice pool and hot tub and the grounds are well maintained, but no bar or restaurant. You can use the bar and restaurant at the Marriott Hotel, but they will tell you to leave if you try to try use the nicer pool there. We would have spent more time and money at the hotel if they let the kids enjoy the pool. It is conveniently located near the airport, but has helicopter noise and some airplane noise.
