The ownership of the motel is extremely proud of it. There was no shampoo provided, make sure to bring your own. The rubber toilet handle broke and the staff placed a long telephone wire so that we could operate the toilet, maintenance was not available. Room was great! Big, clean, & comfortable. "Always a great visit"
I loved everything about the stay except the bed. I had a king size bed but it was so uncomfortable. I had backaches each day. This won't stop me from staying at the hotel but next time I'll ask for a room with a queen bed to see if that will be different. I just made a trip across the country from Philadelphia to Phoenix. I stayed at a Red Roof, a Drury Inn, this Motel 6, and a La Quinta. The Motel 6 surprisingly was the second nicest place I stayed in. The room was spacious, very clean, and had perfect spaces for everything. The decor was maybe a bit dated, but other than that exactly what you want […] from your hotel, and you can hit the place with a baseball from Route #40. The only negatives I had were the front desk man when I arrived, who acted like I should count myself lucky to have gotten a room, given all of the fracking people there for natural gas. I thought to myself I'd be lucky if my stay was free, but otherwise I'm a paying customer just like them. Aside from that it was a fairly course crowd staying there, so buyer beware. It's on a street (Domino Drive) that might be confused with an alleyway between a Shell station and a Taco Bell.
