The air conditioning was so loud it kept us awake all night.. It sounded like a jet engine. We told the front desk when were checking out and the lady said "yeah, we get complaints about that ALL the time but the bldg is 104 years old so there's nothing we can do". We will not be staying here again or anything close to it.

This is an old office building converted into a boutique hotel. Unfortunately, the lack of carpeting and abundance of wood, tile, and marble make it very loud. We checked in at 3:30 and were told the only clean room available was on the second floor. We weren't told it was right above a bar/lounge with a live band. While checking in, the tile floor […] around the front desk was being mopped (along with my shoes). We were also almost hit by the 'caution: wet floor' sign being swung about by the guy doing the mopping. Usually properties affiliated with the Intercontinental Group are held to certain standards and an expected level of professionalism. Clearly, this is not the case here. This was a great hotel would definitely stay again. We were very impressed on how clean everything was. The only down fall was they didn't have a mini-fridge to keep our leftovers in!

It was a very nice hotel, but it not for those who want to be away from children and tourist traps. Probably my biggest complaint was the lack of a decent bar/restaurant in the area. Basically dives and chain bars. However, the price is good, its clean, and easy to get around from.

I was thankful for the awesome valet service as parking in this area is scarce. The front desk people were awesome and the location is ideal as the Alamo is right across the street. The room was very clean with good amenities. I will stay there again in the future.

I thought this hotel was awesome. I stayed there for 6 nights for a conference and the location was stellar and the rooms were quite nice, especially for the extremely competitive price! Moreover, there was a *fire* nearby the hotel at 3am my last night there and they had to evacuate the entire hotel to somewhere nearby while we waited for the firefighters […] to figure out what was wrong. The staff/firefighters/everyone handled it quite well. The next day when I checked out, they didn't even bat an eye or say a word when I checked out really late (i'm sure i wasn't the only one, but i slept through when I ought to have asked for a late check-out.. My family of 6 rented two rooms during a stay in February 2013. The location couldn't be beat as it is right across from The Alamo and very close to the river walk. The hotel was easy to find with valet parking. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant offerred a very yummy breakfast. Pleasant room and staff. Was very convenient for the purposes of our stay in San Antonio. My friend lost her phone in the car which was hard to find. The valet was very helpful in finding it for us when we called the phone to help locate it.

Our room with 2-queen beds was a bit small for 4-people. The location was great and the price was very good. We parked in the lot next door for $10/day, but there are no in/out priveleges. Their computers worked well and the restaurant was fine for breakfast.

Absolutely no parking, unless you plan on spending the 25 a night on valet. Customer service was lacking, front desk attendant did not mention the fee that would be applied to the credit card that can take up to 30 days to be refunded. rooms were relatively small and unless you get a spot on the south corner of the building, the view from the room is […] awful. I used the Hotel Indigo to get a little sleep between trains which changed in the middle of the night in San Antonio on the way to another destination. I requested an early wake-up call from staff, and that happened followed with a second wake-up call to make sure I made it to the train station. Staff also called me a taxi to take me to the train station […] at checkout time. When asked, they provided historical information about the hotel which I found very interesting.
