Badly situated, a traffic jam at all times in front of thw hotel... Doorman could be rude to the guest, depends on his mood. The room is small and tired. Facilities are not impressive. Loved the hotel - 1 bedroom suite was so comfortable, quasi luxurious. There is a wonderful street scene on the boulevard in front of the hotel with a huge assortment of Thai street food/drink vendors, serving from their carts, etc. morning to evening. Hotel rates for laundry are outrageous, e.g. 250 BT to wash a shirt. Other locals we payed 50 BT a KILO to have things washed and folded - so do your wash in other venues. This is not in the heart of Western Hotel zones but it is better that way - less congested and more comfortable, easy to get too without the traffic congestion of the major thoroughfares where many of the biggest hotels are located. Awesome Hotel to stay in, only downfall is Location. Taxis will sometimes refuse metered fare to you during peak hours (traffic) as location is not far enough and through heavy traffic. I stayed in a premier room but upgraded straight away to the kasara package. I did this because it gives you free internet, free breakfast and free cocktails, drinks, nibbles in the kasara lounge between 6-8pm everyday. During the day you can also get free juice, water, soft drinks etc.. Very nice hotel in good location, only 10 minute stroll from BTS station. Nice pool area, meal in restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful. Happy hour cocktails delicious!!! We received upgrade to suite on 26th floor. Good views across Bangkok and lovely big suite, with superb bathroom.

Location isn't great but the rooms are large and clean, as well as affordable. The wifi that they charge you for daily is non existent and constantly drops out! But other than that, it's a place I'd recommend.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a large apartment suite. The room was very nice, but dusty. The hotel staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. Would stay there again.

The Hotel is situated in a business district without any quality shopping centers and far from attractions. There is a Sky Train station (BTS) within 15-20 mins walk, however you will pay for transport just about every time you need to go out. I suggest the SIAM or Sukhumvit areas instead.

Great location! Sky train station is very close to the hotel ( if you plan to take the public transport to seearound Bangkok) and the hotel has a free shuttle to the train station. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. If we go back to Bangkok, we will stay in this hotel again.

This hotel/residence is a little difficult to find and is not in prime sightseeing territory, but it is a relatively short (10-20 minutes) and scenic cab ride to the old city/Grand Palace area. This hotel was the perfect place to relax in Bangkok for a few days. Upon check-in I was upgraded to a high-floor standard room and there was a great view of the Bangkok skyline from the little balcony. The bathroom had a tiled shower (no tub), but was very clean. Bathroom walls were frosted glass, but offered plenty of privacy. My only complaint was […] that the very small mirror was not directly in front of the sink and was poorly lit, so shaving in the morning was awkward. The pool was large, beautiful, and had plenty of seating (loungers, tables, cabanas, etc.). and the gym (in the adjoining tower) was clean, well-equipped, and not very busy. The locker rooms by the gym also had a very clean sauna and steam room (turn them on yourself). The breakfast buffet was diverse and tasty, though very busy. The middle of the seating area is somewhat dark, but you can ask to be seated by a window which is much more pleasant. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle to the BTS/Skytrain station. Make sure you take an address card from the front desk to give to taxi drivers for your return. The hotel was a little difficult for taxis to find and hard to see from the main road. I found that it helped to tell them it was on Naratiwat Road, just before Soi 6. 30 minutes of free wifi are included but more access is available for 300 baht per 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay at Anantara Bangkok Sathorn. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. There was even an iron and ironing board in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Initially hard to find but most local taxi drivers were familiar with its location. Great place to stay.

The hotel is very clean and the staffs are very friendly. It is about 1/2 mile away from the sky train station and so fairly convenient. However, it is kind of hidden from the main road results even a taxi driver is very careful in order to locate the hotel.

Found the hotel excellent. It's 5 mins walk from the Chong Nonsi sky train station. It's also close to the river from where you can get a river boat to the palace, Chinatown and other tourist sights. The service was top class and extremely friendly. We got a free upgrade of our room which was very kind of them.
