Pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly and helpful. Location right on sea front and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and centre. We... asked for a twin room with a sea view and got just that (a side sea view) and being on the 9th floor the views were amazing. We caught the afternoon sun on the balcony too. Only criticism with the room was the AC as it wasn't working. They sent someone to look at it, got it working but only just and it was noisy. Only booked B and B but plenty of choice buffet style. Happy hour (BOGOF) every night between 7.30 -11.30 which we took advantage of before going out to eat. We had a late return flight and asked if we could have late check out. This would have cost 30 euros to stay in our room. Alternatively they offered us a room just to shower/change free of charge for 30 mins or so which was all we needed and thought this was pretty good service. It was predominantly elderly people that stayed here but it didn't put myself or my 19 year old daughter off as we just wanted somewhere clean with a good location and lout-free! I understand it's about to undergo a major refurb so some of the outdated/tired looking areas will benefit greatly from this.
