We specifically booked a suite because we had to rely on the sofabed for additional bedding. The sofabed was extremely uncomfortable; whereby one could feel metal springs by just pressing down on the padding (not a mattress) with the palm of your hand. My fiance is very picky when it comes to cleanliness. We chose this hotel because of other reviewers saying that it was very clean. It went above and beyond our expectations! The hotel is new and very clean and well kept. There was a nice courtyard, pool, and workout facility. My only complaint about the room is that there wasn't a refrigerator, microwave, or dresser to unpack my clothing in. The staff was very accomodating regarding early and/or late check ins. Everything inside and out was very clean. Every staff member we ran into was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and offered a lot of options.

The hotel itself was nice but there were a few problems: first, my reservation was made for the wrong date but the hotel staff was able to switch the date since the room was pre-paid, but I wasn't able to get a rollaway bed for my 9 yr old grandson because of safety codes. My 2 granddaughters had to sleep with me and he slept with his mom. My grands […] were so excited to go swimming after a day at the Newport Aquarium,but another child had an accident in the pool and the pool was closed for about 10 hours. They got to swim for only one hour before our 11 am checkout. Having to find things to entertain 3 young kids in a hotel room was interesting!! Other than those things...it is a nice place to stay! We decided to take a family get-away to Cincinnati and I was put in charge of booking a hotel. We wanted one that was clean and had no reports of bed bugs since I had heard they were prevalant around the Cincinnati area. I could not have been more happy with this hotel. It was a bit cold but nothIng you couldn't swim in comfortably. The hot tub was plenty hot and relaxing as well. The next morning they offered a free continental breakfast that was delicious. The kids truly enjoyed the waffle maker! The staff were all really friendly and came around during breakfast and offered the kids mints and coloring sheets. This is the best hotel we've ever experienced, we stayed there 6/28/12-7/1/12 while attending the Nascar races and although it was approx. a 45 min. drive to the track, we will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was easy to find. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. Close to the Newport aquarium & close to restaurants. The only complaint i had was that the whirlpool wasnt working properly & they had a smoking area right next to the pool area (& it was suppose to be a non smoking hotel) but other than that i would stay there again :)

One of the nicest Hampton Inn's we have ever stayed in. Very new (2 years) and modern. Staff was very helpful. With the exception of the air conditioner in our room not working and switching to the room next door, an wonderful stay!

Traveling up Hwy 9 North from 275, I passed the hotel because it is not visible from the highway and there is no sign alerting travelers to turn right from Hwy. 9. I chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool and is new construction. Overall the hotel was very good, however, the toilet in my room stopped up twice and the drain in the sink was clogged. I had to plunge the toilet myself because there was no maintenance person onsite at 5pm. The hotel seemed to be short on personnel.
