Abad Harmonia Ayurveda Beach Resort - Thiruvananthapuram (i okolica)

The stay was pleasant. Its a nice place with a clean pool. Not too far from the beach and a small village. Its about 10km away from the famous kovalam beach. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Would be better if the rooms are cleaner and a bit more modern. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

The hotel was about 10km south of where it had been shown on the hotels.com map, which was nice in a way, but meant an extra haggle with our taxi driver and a 20 minute rickshaw ride, and another awkward haggle, to get to Kovalam. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, though the AC couldn't cope with more than a few hours without making the most […] horrific noise. I'd purposefully asked Abad hotels if the hotel had an alcohol licence and a bar, I was assured it did. It does not. The 'restaurant' was little more than a canteen. Room service direct to our veranda fixed this no problem. It was generally attractive with a pleasant beach 5 minutes walk away. I stayed at this hotel for a week. I had never been to the Kerala region in India before and it is a very lush and tropical area with Coconut Palm trees and beaches lining the coast. I was met at the airport with the driver of my arranged hotel transfer. That is highly recommended especially if you are on your own. It was peace of mind and the drive […] was approx 25kms or 40mins away. Arriving at the hotel, I went to the reception and the driver took care of my luggage. The registration process was over in minutes and I was led to my cottage and I settled in quickly. The grounds of the hotel are green and landscaped with paths leading you to all areas. The dining rooms are clean and the food is prepared fresh and good quality. The massage Ayurveda centre is definitely a must and there is many styles of massage to choose from. The hotel is a few minutes walk to Kovalam Beach which was lovely to walk along. There are many little villages that you can explore plus temples and even the beautiful backwaters which are only 15 minutes away. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only sore point was the pool was being maintained for 5 of the 7 days I was there. When I did finally get to use the pool I only got to sit in the small round pool at the side because the big pool was still being filled with water. It was very, very hot and it would have been nice to be able to cool off with a swim everyday. But all in all I had a great stay at Abad. Go try yourself. Pročitajte više

A lovely hotel in pleasant gardens with a swimming pool. The staff are lovely and very friendly. They are very willing to help. We enjoyed the breakfasts and buffet. The waiters went out of their way to please and serve us what we liked. Santhosh the Manager was particularly friendly and was always on hand to speak to guests and have a walk around. I found a little bit of heaven on earth - if you want anything other than chilled, relaxed then this is not the place for you - Stunnig surrounds and even though it is a little bit back from the sea, it is so quiet there that I fell asleep with the sound of the waves on the shore........

Hotelli oli hyvä ja siisti. Aamupalaa sai toiveidensa mukaan ja tilaamamme päivälliset hyviä ja melko edullisia. Miinuksena oli, että lähellä hotellia on lähinnä vain paikallisten asutusta. Suositulle Kovalam Beachille on matkaa n.8km ja sinne pitää mennä riksalla (n.200 rupiaa). Lähellä hotelliakin on ranta, muttei siellä ainakaan kesän monsuuniaikaan […] voinut uida. Fräscht hotell med trevlig personal. Minus var att det låg lite avsides till byn å andra sidan fick man se en del av Indiernas vardag vilket i sig var en positvi upplevelse. Ca 5 min gångväg till beachen.

Rummet är likställt med ett bra vandrahem å det vi hade hade egen balkong med utsikt över innegården. Hotellet egentligen enkelt att hitta från Chowara junction med rickshaw (max 100 rupier) å bussen från huvudstaden åker direkt (30 minuter, 10 rupier). Stranden är det man vill komma åt å hotellet är säkert mycket mer prisvärt än yogaresorten. Anläggningen […] har egen vakt/port å pool i mitten å massage vilket stämmer med bilderna.
