Bed was comfortable enough considering that I was attending a wedding and all I needed was a place to crash at the end of the night. Easy enough to get back onto the M1 at the end of the stay which was a bonus! Baker street tube station around the corner and only 30 minutes walk from Hyde Park for the wedding I needed to attend. Good value for money for sobering up. Could not be bothered with getting the continental breakfast so cannot comment on the food. Bathroom was small and the water cold ... maybe I should have run the water longer than 2 minutes! However staff were very, very helpful but don't expect them to be wearing a shirt and tie! The room we had was on main floor, and was very noisy. The bathroom had a door leading to the outside, which had a huge gap under the door and cold air was flooding through and made the bathroom VERY drafty. It's a dungeon.they gave me a room on third floor and there are no lifts but steep stairs.Dont plan this place with heavy luggage or you will end up with sprained back.Location is the advantage.

Very good location with lots of attractions and shops nearby. The room, 312, is the Harry Potter room in between two floors in the middle of a staircase. If taller than 170cm ask for another or bed will be too short. Same advice if you are more than 80kg. However it was clean! And quiet which is scarce in London:)

A lot of reviews of this hotel make valid points about it's standard of décor. But really, what do you expect for such a low price. One of the cheapest hotels in central London, and seemingly the cheapest that includes a modest breakfast the hotel perfectly fulfilled my needs. In a word Awful. The room was a dump and was dirty to boot. There were no plugs in the cupboard that was supposed to be a bathroom and there was also no shower curtain and it certainly couldn't be classed as a wet room. This hotel has been the biggest mistake traveling, they were asking the same rate per night that I will pay for night in a 4 start hotel in a big city in USA. The hotel is far away of everything, the only good point is that it is close to one of the metro stations. But, entering to the hotel nobody was on the reception, if you want to have assistance […] you need to make a phone call and the staff was not friendly at all. Finally once somebody came, they took my luggage to the fourth floor, no elevators of course!!!, but nobody helped me when I was leaving, I needed to take my luggage by myself four floors down stairs!!!! The carpet was old and broken, the room was worse than a student dorm. First of all, the room was so dirty, the carpet was not clean, the bed linen was with some stains and the bed by itself was not comfortable!!! The WC did not work, they have only cold water so you need to take a cold shower and the heater was not working in the room, even it was cold outside!!! At night you can hear everything in other rooms. The room DID NOT have TV, toiletries, anything, it was just a bed!!! They offered "free breakfast buffet" and it consisted of the cheapest cereal and a cup of coffee. If you have problems in the room, NOBODY helps you and for the check-out you need to call somebody in the reception that in a bad way will tell you just leave the key and go. I would not recommend this hotel for family with children and elderly. No lift and the stairs are quite steep. The carpets are shabby and this hotel needs a makeover. Rum med lutande golv både hit och dit, städningen bestod av att halvt lägga ihop täckena i sängen. Ingen annan städning under fyra nätters vistelse. Imgen som syntes iallafall.Inget varmvatten, fick lösas genom att spola i tre kranar och då kom varmvattnet. Frukosten var väldigt spartansk.

J'avais lu beaucoup d'avis négatifs sur cet hôtel. Mais sincèrement à 92 euros la nuit, judicieusement placé pour se déplacer (3 min du métro Baker Street, face à l'arrêt de bus pour aller à l'aéroport de Standstead) c'est une super affaire. Je recommande comme bon plan hébergement pour un week-end visite à Londres (pas grand chose autour de l'hôtel […] mais avec la "One Day Travel Card" se déplacer dans Londres n'est pas ruineux). Betjeningen var hyggelige, imøtekommende og unge, kanskje studenter med en bijobb. Resepsjonen var aldri betjent og man måtte benytte ringeklokken på disken. Det kunne gå opptil 5 minutter før resepsjonisten dukket opp. Hotellet bærer preg av minimalt vedlikehold. Innvisteringene er prioritert brannsikrings tiltak og ikke generelt vedlikehold. Rommene […] var rene, men bar preg av slittasje. Rommet mitt som lå i fjerde etasje, manglet låsbeslag i dørrammen og kunne lett brytes opp med et lite spark. Gulvet i korridoren skrånet kraftig, så på den ene siden svevet døren ca 5 cm over terskelen. Det ble litt trekkfult ila natten, men et håndkle i sprekken hjalp godt. Badet manglet speil, men det ble montert etter to dager. Dosetet var helt løst, så jeg måtte balansere på ramma i den ellers trange plassen på badet. Det var kaldt mens vi var i London og sentralfyren virket som den levde sitt eget liv. Den var stort sett skrudd av om dagen, men kom tilfeldig på om kvelden eller natten. Heldigvis var den stort sett på om morgenen, ellers hadde det vært en kald fornøyelse å dusje om morgenen. Rommet i fjerde etasje er sikkert fint om sommeren, men ikke å anbefale om vinteren, da det ble fort nedkjølt. Vi var lite nervösa innan vi anlände efter att ha läst andra recensioner men vi hade tur med vårt rum. Det luktade inte avlopp i vårt badrum, varmvatten fanns det direkt, däremot finns inga gratis duschgrejer som står att det ska finnas så duschcreme o schampo får man ta med hemifrån. Frukosten var ju inget speciellt, kaffet kunde jag bara få ner första […] dagen sedan blev det kaffe ute istället. Det som är positivt med hotellet är att det är ett bra läge, man tar sig lätt överallt både till fots och med tunnelbana. Det gick även smidigt att ta sig hit ifrån flygplatsen Gatwick. Det var heller inga problem att lämna våra väskor i ett låst rum efter utcheckning eftersom vårt flyg gick sent på kvällen. Rummen var stora, vilket var bra eftersom vi var två vuxna och två barn. Bekväma sängar och bra förvaring. Vackert hotell och vackra fönster, men dåligt underhållet. Lite skräpig reception, vilket ger ett trist intryck. Frukosten var trist. Hade blivit ok med annat bröd samt fler pålägg, ost eller skinka. Nu fanns endast marmelad. Hotellet har ett superbra […] läge, fem minuter till Madame Taussaud, vilket gjorde att vi kunde vara där när de öppnade halv tio, ingen kö på en fredag. Kanon! Det tog 15 minuter att gå ner till Oxford street. Perfekt. Alternativt 2 minuter till tunnelbana eller dubbeldäckare. Eftersom frukosten var trist tog vi en härlig frukostbuffe på SAS Radisson Hotel Blue Portman som ligger vid Portman Square, 10 minuters promenad. Också kanon. Och det blir ändå så mycket billigare än att bo på ett annat hotell. Priset var ju nämligen oslagbart för familjerum och så centralt! Ett hotell med väldigt mycket potential om någon hade haft lust att satsa på det. Trevliga och hjälpsamma killar i receptionen. Ta med öronproppar och någonting att lägga på sängen för man känner fjädrarna. Men läget var super och killarna väldigt trevliga så med lite omvårdnad hade hotellet kunnat blir mycket bättre.

Bra läge. Ett stort rum, vi hade dubbelrum med extra säng. Sängarna var stora och rymmliga. Receptionen var inte bemannad men det var bara att plinga så kom det någon. Trevlig personal och hjälpsamma. Gick bra att lämna väskor innan incheck och efter utcheck. Tyvärr var frukosten av det simplaste slaget. Toast med smör eller marmelad. Väldigt bra läge, nära till Vaxmuseumet, Oxfordstreet och Sherlock Holmes museum. Bra förbindelser via Tube på Baker street. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Tyvärr mycket trappor och lite hårda sängar. Dock perfekt för unga som gillar att shoppa, fika och se mycket!

Bra: Hotellet låg jättenära Baker street t-bana. Det var även enkelt att ta bussen t Piccadilly/Oxford circus. Sängen, lagom stor för mig och en 11-åring, upplevde jag (som är kraftig) som medelmjuk. 11-åringen klagade på att fjädrarna tryckte in i bröstkorgen. Varje dag byttes handdukar, papperskorgar tömdes och sängen bäddades. Fanns liten TV på rummet, […] ingen gratis Wi-Fi. Medel: Kontinental frukost ingick. Det innebar vitt toastbröd, smör, 2 marmeladsorter, coco-pops, havregryn och flingor med mjölk eller fil + kaffe ur apparat, thats it! Varma chokladen ur apparaten var inte drickbart. Mindre bra: Rummet som låg i trapphuset (övriga rum låg i korridor bakom en dörr) var okej men öronproppar rekommenderas (inget måste) då allt prat fr trapphuset hördes in till rummet. Då vi bodde precis ovanpå entrén så hördes det varje gång porten slog igen. Badrummet var rent, mögelfritt. Varje gång man spolade började det lukta avlopp. Hotellet bjöd inte på tvål eller shampoo. Sämst: Att det endast kom kallvatten i duschen den första kvarten så vi antog att det inte fanns varmvatten och duschade kallt. Helhetsintryck: Man får vad man betalar för. Detta var det absolut billigaste hotellet hyfsat centralt i London nära T-bana så om man struntar i rummets storlek och står ut med lite avloppsdoft på toa så får du pengar över t annat.
