Ole Sereni - Nairobi

Beautiful hotel but a very poor service. I had a bad experience as someone has forced my suitcase in my room. A part of that, the view on the National Park is stunning and worthwhile for a stay.

Will not use any other hotels in Nairobi!

We had one night between transfers and the Ole Sereni was perfect. The staff were all very helpful, the food was lovely, the room was very comfortable. Have already recommended to friends.

The Ole Sereni is a perfect hotel when you are looking for a good place near the international airport (we were this time in Nairobi just for a transit to the Seychelles)). It's clean and silent and the staff are very friendly.

Fantastic service, great location. Can not praise it enough.

VERY CLOSE TO NAIROBI AIRPORT AND AWAY FROM THE CITY TRAFFIC.

Stayed at hotel to be near airport. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with patio dining. Hotel isn't actually near anything else as far as I can tell, so you cant go anywhere, but it was fine. Used the hotel car to take me to my apartment the next morning. Good hotel and staff for the price and location. Travel into Westlands took over an hour on the Fri night but would normally only take 20mins...so be prepared. Only complaint would be that they need to update their information brochure in the rooms, taxi prices were more expensive as they hadn't been updated since the Hotel was built in 2009.

I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay at the Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi. Friendly staff, swift service and convenient location between the city centre and airport. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

My experience towards customership & services were not good in Hotels of African Countries, but I found the services and customership of Ole Sereni was very good and as of Global Standard, Staff are very much co-operative and attentive, Comfort & Claeniness was very good, Cusine also had variety and delicious. Hope they would keep it up.

We stayed at the hotel for one night at the end of our honeymoon between our flights into Nairobi and back to UK. The hotel is really close to the airport. In good traffic it was 10 mins, but I heard that the road does get pretty busy in rushhour. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are not too small and the bed was pretty big and comfortable in […] the standard room we had. It has a couple of nice bar/restaurant areas and an outdoor pool, which unfortunately we didn't get use as it was pretty chilly that day. The hotel is situated next to the national park, which you can see from the upgraded rooms or pool/bar/restaurant outdoors areas. They had live Jazz/Soul band with singer in the evening, which was very nice to relax to whie having our drinks. The reception customer service was ok. I did feel uncomfortable, when they checked us in in my husband's name even if the booking was made and paid for by me. There was an issue with the type of room booked, which they didn't appear to care enough to look into and gave us the standard you can upgrade for a fee talk. Later it turned out to be a miscommunication between the hotel and the website, which the website addressed very attentively. Though staff other areas were extremely friendly and helpful. This is a new Hotel, and as such is probably still training its staff. The resteraunt staff are not very good at anticipating the needs of clients. At breakfast, we were a party of 4 and were given one small pot of tea, barely enugh for us, and no milk. The service needs to improve there. The food is expensive and the cocktails even more so. The evening […] meal was very good, and the service better. The beds I found very very hard, but it was the same in Mobassa at the Serena, so maybe its just a Kenyan thing. The check in was seamless. I didn't like the bathroom being seperated from the main room by just a frosted glass door, especially if you are sharing a room. It can be quite embarrasing. It is very close to the airport so is good if you are in transit. The gounds are still being developed. One side looks out onto Nairobi national Park which is very nice. You may not see that many animals, but there maybe the odd ostrich passing . Overall, not bad, but beds and service, at least for the morning needs to get better. Pročitajte više

Vi har bara goda saker att säga om detta hotell. Trevlig och vänlig personal. Bra och trevliga rum. Rent, trivsamt och prisvärt. Härlig frukost och god mat. Perfekt ställe att tillbringa några dagar för att upptäcka Nairobi eller för att ladda upp eller ta igen sig efter andra upplevelser i landet. Отель удобно расположен по отношению к аэропорту и центру города. Уютные номера. Практически единственный недостаток - плохая шумоизоляция. В номере была щель под дверью, весь шум из коридора слышен в номере.

ナイロビでのトランジットで1泊しました。空港から近く、市内の渋滞に巻き込まれないので、特に買い物や外出をしないのであれば便利です。ホテルからは、双眼鏡を使って、遠くにキリンやダチョウが確認できました。幸い公園側の部屋で静かでしたが、町側は道路が近くにあり交通量が多いので、ちょっとうるさいかも。部屋に入ったとき、蚊が10数匹いたので、即効で叩き、夜は静かに寝られました。英語のレビューは辛口のが多いですが、スタッフもアフリカ人らしいフレンドリーな態度でしたし、過度な要求をしなければ、とても良いホテルだと思います。でも動物が少なくてちょっと残念。

Vi valgte Ole Sereni på grund af beliggenheden tæt ved lufthavnen (vi skulle videre næste morgen). Havde forudbestilt og betalt for et ikkeryger værelse. Ved ankomsten havde receptionen tydeligt svært ved at finde et værelse til os, og det værelse vi endelig fik stank af tobak. Vi bad om at blive flyttet til et ikkeryger værelse, men fik at vide, at […] det ikke var muligt, da hotellet var fuldt booket. Så bad vi om at få værelset sprayet og udluftet, mens vi spiste i restauranten. Vores bagage ville blive bragt til værelset i mellemtiden. Efter vores måltid kom vi tilbage til værelset, hvor en elektrisk duftmaskine var blevet installeret. Det hjalp nu ikke på lugten af tobak. Vores håndbagage var ankommet, men ikke vores kufferter.
