The hotel is very conveniently located next to the BTS - Chit Lom station (<100m walking). Staff are very friendly and professional as to be expected for such a business hotel. However, many tourists do also use it for their stay in BKK. Great breakfast buffet with a wide variety of continental and asian food. Rooms are very spacious for a central hotel […] and facilities were in good condition. Sole draw back is the indoor pool which we would have to be preferred an outdoor one. The hotel is very well located. Walking distance to all the major shopping mall. The chidlom bts is situated right in front of the hotel ( about 100m ) so it's very convenient to move around in Bangkok. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful always full of smiles and greetings. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am they have no problem checking […] us in!!! The room was spacious, spotless clean, the bed was very comfortable and I loved the toilet best with a huge bathtub and a separated shower room ( with rainfall shower head ). Breakfast was good with varieties but almost the same every morning. Even though there were some hiccups on the 2nd breakfast morning, the restaurant manager Mr Chai was very apologetic and he actually make some wonderful arrangement for us. Due to my wife birthday, the hotel even leave us a birthday cake in the room. Nice touch. Overall, I'll definitely stay here again if the hotel rate is good. The hotel was perfectly clean, seemed brand new, gorgeous, and very posh. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that drinks were very expensive and my card was still charged $165 when my friend took care of the final bill of incidentals on her card. I will have to take it up with them when I return.

We use the Renaissance as a stop over before our main destination. It was a wonderful choice. Fantastic hotel in a great location. Highly recommend it.

Location is excellent as it's just 1 minute walk from BTS (Chit Lom) and 7-10 minutes from Central Grand and Gaysorn shopping malls. The hotel in general is superb. The hotel was beautiful, and wonderfully located, easy access to sky train. Terrific shopping within easy walking. The cuisine in the restaurants was superb. The best aspect of the hotel was the service. Excellent recommendation .

Nice modern hotel in the heart of Bangkok shopping district. Loved the room (which was spacious and has a great view) however the drain in the shower was making noise through out the night. Also, they are stingy with the bath towels, only two were provided. On our first night, the cleaners failed to turn up for turn-down/cleaning so we returned to the […] room after our night out to find the room uncleaned and used towels still on the floor. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a 4 star + accommodation in central Bangkok as the price we paid was very reasonable for what we got. p.s. there is free WiFi access through out the hotel for Marriott Rewards members. The quality of this hotel is astounding, especially in relationship to the price we paid. We had reserved a Club level room but seeing we arrived at 8:00 am, our room was understandably not ready. We were invited to enjoy breakfast in the lounge and by the time we finished, they had prepped a room for us and had delivered our bags. Our Club privileges […] included breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and canapes. We had to make an effort not to take advantage of the wonderful food and hospitality at the hotel so we could enjoy some some of the delicious street food and restaurants. Stayed at the renaissance hotel for 5 nights. Everything is great - staff, food, service, rooms, SPA etc. Only areas where I can find improvements (if I must) is the staffs english which could improve a bit and also that the pool is indoors - but that can be a plus as well.

Dette er hotellet du velger om du skal på shopping på en av Siam-områdets mange sentre, og samtidig bo fint. Hotellet ligger flott til og har god sikkerhet. Noe støvete på rommet, renhold kunne vært bedre og roomservice kunne vært raskere.

Suprisingly, the slippers offered by hotel is re-used as confirmed by hotel staff. I fully support environmental protection but I think it is not quite acceptable to re-use slippers from hygienic point of view. Hope the hotel management can re-consider. I reserved two inter-connecting rooms but they were not available when I checked in the hotel. Moreover, I booked two twins rooms but was only given one. Everywhere in the hotel, there is dance music, which is a bit too much. Lots of color lights at nigh makes me feel that it's a club type of hotel. I expected the room to be clean, but i saw a COCKROACH in the bathroom. .. will not stay in this hotel next time i visit Bangkok

This hotel is located at a very convenient location at the centre of Bangkok. Easily accessible from sky train. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and the open view from the room is great. The buffet dinner was excellent too. Nice swimming pool on the top floor, but I personally find the water too cold.

安いプランが空いていたら、必ずここにします。タニヤからもスクンビットからも便利。セントラルワールド、サイアムスクエアは徒歩圏内。BTS目の前。新しくきれいでスタイリッシュ。エレベーターが比較的早く来るのは、タイにおいては珍しく、案外重要。最上階のプールは30mほどの長さがあり、ほとんどいつもすいていて、しっかり泳ぎたい人にはもってこい。部屋のデスクが大きいので仕事するのも快適。スタッフのホスピタリティーの質は、バンコクでもトップクラス。敢て難を言えば、夜遅くまでやっているマッサージが、徒歩すぐに無いこと。

Pls. note the following complaints: 1. the tel. no. of hotel on Hotel.com is wrong. The taxi driver didn't know the location of hotel and wanted to call but the tel. no. on the confirmation was wrong and we spent a lot of time and taxi fare to reach the hotel. We even had to stop and ask people many times. 2. The lamp placed on the coffee table in the […] Lobby was so thin and tall and unstable to stand. The child touched it inadvertently and broke the inside glass of the lamp. We were requested to pay for THB1,500 for the lamp.
