Extremely comfortable stay, excellent food, great location. The hotel is in the vicinity of numerous tourist destinations, yet in a clean, up market street. staff is friendly and helpful, my son loved the pool and the breakfast buffet is to die for.

Good hotel not bad location, not sure if its star rating is entirely accurate but nice all the same. However, do not eat in any of the 3 restaurants as I believed they are served by the same kitchen and the quality of the food was appalling in my opinion!!

Upgraded to 'deluxe room' on check-in - nothing special about it (but haven't seen a 'standard' room. Unfortunately, room 537 (on the fifth floor) has its view of the Twin Towers COMPLETELY obscured by the concrete facade attached to the roof above. Only view was only looking down, and was mostly of of the building site opposite. Would have been better […] off lower down! Bed too hard for me, but 4 very large pillows allowed me to 'build' a second mattress on top, which worked well. Housekeeping staff very efficient and polite. Access to main tourist area through BACK of hotel to Bukit Bintang and the modern Pavilion Mall is very easy. Supermarket on lower floor worth visiting for supplies (food and drink) for the hotel room. Access to local multistory shopping centre (Wisma Conlay) and locals food cafes is best through front of hotel and turn left, but navigating the traffic has its challenges, and the building site is most unattractive. Covered and airconditioned walkway to KLCC and the Twin Towers shopping compex starts at Wisma Conlay, and is the most convenient way to walk to KLCC. Hotel food/drink somewhat pricey, but for local food ANY time of day or night, try the Asian food market just behind the Grand Millennium hotel on Bukit Bintang. Great hotel, friendly staff, excellent facilities. Great location, 5 minute walk to Pavillion shopping center, 10-15 to Petronas towers. Breakfast buffet is fantastic with more choices than you can possibly eat. Highly recommended

This hotel was like staying in a royal palace!!! Given that there's not much to do in KL the hotel was enough to keep me very happy. The rooms were so amazing that u just did not want to leave. And the breakfast was amazing.

Excellent hotel - except for the wifi which was poor. The speeedchecker gave download speed of 0.4 mgs and despite being given an alternative password and user name was still totally inadequate. Gorgeous hotel and lobby. Wow for that part. Rooms were lovely and spacious but very dim. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchen and cooking facility. Couldn't read at night. due to lack of light. No drawers to unpack drawer things so suitcases had to be left on floor for use as drawers as there were no suitcase racks. Lighting by bed was controlled […] by a light switch on only one side of the bed. To put my sleep apnea machine on, and have it dark, we had to unplug the light. One night there was a big event in the central open area of the hotel and the noise kept us awake. Because we were already in bed we didn't take the offer of the hotel to move our room. Overall, this was a grand hotel with several restaurants. We tried the higher end French restaurant and the food and service were very good but the ambiance was ruined by this loud event in the central area from which the loud speaker outdid the soft music being played . As we were checking out, a red carpet was out and the Prime Minister was coming in for an event. It is easy walking to the Pavilion Shopping Center and you can either walk downtown or catch a short cab ride. Pool area seemed nice enough. Jacuzzi was not working. We would return but request a room away from the central event area as I have a feeling the noise is a common occurrence. We found that the biggest problem as it spoiled our dinner and our sleep. The hotel was not a real 5 star hotel. We had arranged a tour in the hotel tour counter. They told us to be in the lobby at 10am. But the man responsible for this in the hotel, called our room at 8am again to make sure that I will be at the counter at 10 (!) and didn't let us sleep! One of the most non-professional service i have ever received in any hotel. It ranged from guidance to tourism places to arranging airport transfers to the availability of rooms in time and as per booking. Best thing was excellent breakfast.

It was more than expected. We enjoyed the royal club benefits with free flow of drinks entire day as well as the use of computer room, tea break with delish finger food, and the evening cocktail. Had issue with the toilet but the maintenance arrived promptly. We requested a bath tub room when booking due to travelling with iur baby girl 10months old. When we arrived we were upgraded for free to Club room. We booked a deluxe room and were upgraded to an executive suite. This is a high-class hotel in upscale Kuala Lumpur. The architecture of the hotel is splendid. The rooms are very cosy and clean. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food is varied and plentiful. I stayed in five hotels in Malaysia, but this hotel is the best.

Good hotel to stay in for a city visit! Our room had dirty sheets on arrival and a bar fridge that broke however they were very quick to fix them. Wifi not great in the room but room service was food and great location for the shopping! Good hotel that allowed late check out! Would go back again if I wanted to head back to KL.

The hotel was large and impressive. We had a twin room and the single beds were huge. Rooms were quite large as was the bathroom which had a great shower. The staff were extremely helpful organizing taxis for us.

My family spend 7 nights at the hotel. No regrets. The hotel is built in a way of cosy and family like manner. Very quiet and give us a very peaceful feeling within the hotel. The staff are generally very friendly and attentive. It is also withing walking distance to Pavilion shopping mall. Overall, I do recommend the hotel.

The hotel's location is strategic. Only 5 mins walk to Pavilion and about 10 mins walk (using the connecting bridge) to Suria KLCC. Hotel staffs extremely friendly. Even teaches you shortcuts to get to the Bukit Bintang area. Saved $$$ on cab fares. One of the staffs could even recognized me and acknowledged me by name throughout my 4 day stay there. Had a flat tire on the day of checkout. As a frequent traveller, I'd rate this hotel is up there with the best bar perhaps the few eclectic ones that personify the best of service and location. My kid loved the pool which was quite deserted most of the time. The service from all the staff was lovely. It is a fine example of Malay hospitality..smiles abound. There was no pork ala bacon type products but everything else was there. Even the coffee could be ordered from freshly ground beans ... okay not italian perfection but still darn good compared with the percolated stuff. The hotel has a lot of custom from middle east but there were enough from others to balance. Those who complain obviously expect a lot more bang for the very modest cost of rooms in this establishment. There's a short cut which you can safely use to walk to the Pavillion mall which is the start of the golden mile of shopping in this city....takes five minutes and literally across one major intersection of two traffic lights. One would seriously need a few days to cover this strip of shops which range from top tier to something like Sungei Wang Plaza which is very much low end.
